Re: best newcomer of 6 nations
surprised to have so many candidates above north after his game v ireland. the lad went a bit missing after that!
farrell for me, reminds me of JW. his deft pass as he fell to the floor for manus try v france shows he has hands, his kicking has been sublime, and he has had tackled well an all!

Cuthbert for me, on the basis of games played. First saw him a couple of years ago withWales' 7s. Impressed me then. Has only recently taken up rugby, one of those late developers. He hs genuine speed and footwork -- he just needs more game time to improve his reading of the game and his defence, and he could then be a great winger.
Tipuric is outstanding and is unlucky that he is the captain's understudy. However, given Warburton's spate of injuroes, he should get more chances to show what Ospreys fans already know.

Maes - if you are on about Georgie, I'm pretty sure he turned 20 this week

As a proud Englishman, I voted for ... Cuthbert. Damn my sense of fair play, but he deserves it. Farrell played a central role in helping his nation off the floor and to regain respectability, Cuthbert played a central role in helping his nation win a Grand Slam, and looked more than at home in such company.
No brainer for me.

You do know where Cuthbert is from dont you? - no complaints whatsoever on his choice of team. (Its nice to see an Englishman come top of the poll one way or another )

Quite a simple bit of research, I used Siri, and for once it worked. Amazed really as it can't even find my wife's birthday...!!!

Cuthbert scored the first welsh try - against 15 Scots I believe.

For dealing with the pressure that's associated with the HB shirt and at such a young age I went for Farrell. I have been incredibly impressed at how he's just got on with it.
Honourable mentions for Cuthbert, Denton, Rennie and tuperic though.
