NEWBY XV.
Just wanted to pick a side using just players who debut'd this 6N (not just int debut but 6N debut, positional debut etc...)
Mine would be...
1. Corbs (I know not a debut, but first champ as 1st choice)
2. Ken Owens
3. Welsh
4. Meastri
5. Parling
6. Shinglar
7. Rennie
8. Denton
9. Murray
10. Farell
11. Cuthbert
12. Fofana
13. Williams
14. Jones
15. Hogg
That looks like a very exciting team to me, there isn't one player there who isn't considered 'exciting' in their position, arguably Farell is conservative in his play but every other player shows flare, style and has a great technique.. NH rugby dead? my ARRSE!

Re: NEWBY XV.
Jon Welsh made his debut at loosehead yesterday but he's had a few games at tighthead for Glasgow recently so could take the 3 spot

If it helps with selection, Corbisero has played quite a bit at TH in the past as well. I'm pretty sure he played all his age grade rugby there.

I'd have Barritt instead of Williams, and maybe Robshaw ahead of Shingler. Based on game-time more than anything, Williams and Shingler were impressive but had mainly cameos, Robshaw and Barritt were integral to the England side (Robshaw gives tou a captain too ).

Decent call but I had Baritt behind Fofana, and Robshaw outplayed by Rennie at 7.

Plenty of excellent talent coming thru for all countries, and there's a couple more that you've missed out that would fit comfortably into tht side, such as Donncha Ryan. NH rugby alive and well, if you ask me

Ye Ryan was very close, but I just thought Maestri was Frances find of the tourny, and Parling really shocked me with his performance. I wasn't a fan.

But didn't Shingler play 7 for you, and yet you've still got him in at 6? Robshaw could definitely take that spot

don't disagree with that (I'd have Baritt ahead of Fofanna but it's marginal, and Rennie would make my team of the tournament), but you've picked Williams at 13 where I don't think he played, similarly with Shingler at 6. Robshaw may have played 7 but he's a better 6 than Shingler I'd have thought, and Baritt actually started a couple of matches at 13, hence why I'd have the two in if that makes sense
