Lomu seeking £500,000 in unpaid wages from French club Stade Phoceen

If they were paying out that kind of money in French division 3 it's no wonder Stade Phoceen (formerly Marseille-Vitrolles) are in administration.

I wonder how much is backpay and how much is damages?

The cynic in me suspects the claim is inflated so that once the admistrators agree the scale of teh settlement with creditors the money paid to Lomu is still reasonably sizeable.

Mind you if they have that sort of debt - and bugger all assets the payment could be lowere than 1 cent per Euro.
