Will get back to you all on the offers on my page in a bit. I need to rethink if we arn't having releases as my plan was to release some people to get in a tp in place of the players leaving. But if I cant do that, then most of my 1st team will be nfs.

Marky has agreed to set up and run a releases page so if you do wish to get rid of some dead wood you can for half the price currently mentioned on Transfermarkt.

What is the point of holding FA Cup Semi's at Wembley? Should be saved for the final in my opinion, but also when you get Liverpool/Everton, surely there is a northern ground better equipped to host? St James', Old Trafford, Eastlands, Elland Road etc. Saves people a lot of money I'd imagine...

Agreed, but because Wembley cost so damn much to build they need monies back.

Old Trafford and Villa Park will always be the home of the semi finals to me. (Ryan Giggs in the Semi replay against Arsenal gave me a semi Laugh)
Wembley should be for the finalist only IMO, FA want people to take it seriously but they ave degraded the FA Cup themselves by playing semis at Wembley.

I agree Nick, it makes it seem like getting the semi's is important and a Wembley moment, but it shouldn't be, it should only be the final that has the aura of being played at the national stadium.

They can make plenty of monies from having the CL final every two years Laugh

Have you been? £11 for some Maccies size burger and a tray of chips the size of my phone, rip off.

Went and saw Oasis there once in 2009 I believe. It's all the same at these gigs, events or festivals, everything is a total rip off because you haven't got much choice when you're there. You eat it or you don't eat at all!

When I go to watch England it is usually food at a pub before hand and then a kebab after. If you know the right places to go to then you can get it cheap. I never buy food at the game, though I sometimes buy a drink. Same when I go to Twickenham to watch the rugby.

I don't understand peoples need that they have to eat over the course of 90mins. Have a good breakfast, maybe some chips before the game. Watch the game, and then have a kebab after.

I think I went to that game too. My dad is a Chelsea fan and had a spare ticket so I went along for the day out. Was 1-1 and Man U won on penalties if I remember correctly, terrible game!

But I did do a shot of Black Absinth at 10:30am on one of the hottest days of the year and didn't vom, so it was a winning day for me.

Black Absinth... Isn't nice at all, but I had a Carling chaser so it's all good.

I'm gonna get my tactics up, then i'll start on the releases page. It's across both leagues so i'm hoping Hero will "sticky" the thread so it's somewhere underneath the Cherry Cup subforum but above the polls.

The difference between this releases page and the FFA releases page is that no matter what, a player's release fee is half of what their transfermarkt value is. If you paid £10M for a player TM values at £7M, you get half of £7M not half of £10M. Players with unknown values are the exception, as the minimum fee to pay for a player is £500k, those players £500k and under will have a set value of £250k.

Will do it this afternoon so people have a chance to lose players and get new ones in before tactics thumbsup
