The Hong Kong 7s remains one of rugbys finest and most fun events. For anyone who has experienced it, and survived, will know what I am talking about. A great spectacle and superb 7s, which I still love watching. I only saw the final yesterday and what a match it was! Great skill, passion and physicality seeing Fiji run out winners over the All Blacks. Great stuff and well done Fiji. clap

It was a great game to watch, fully deserved by Fiji. A shame HK couldnt quite do it I thought, maybe next year...

Sevens will be a great addition to the olympics, should really spread the rugby word.

Fiji were immense, I just wish they could translate that sort of performance into the 15 aside game, but thats for another thread!

Yes good on Fiji. I always enjoy watching them play this type of game as the forwards play like backs most of the time in broken play.

I hate to nit pick but the victory was over New Zealand rather than the ABs. I´d like to see the likes of Nonu and Dagg or Jane play the game and maybe the Olympics will see a few ABs like Jonah Lomu did in the Commonwealth games.

The likes of Fiji, Tonga and Samoa traditionally suffered in the set piece but now they are quite solid in this area. If anything they have moved away from their sevens approach to the game and it was a necessary move to make to compete in the modern game.

Samoa are putting together some handy props who in the next few years could cause some serious issues for unsuspecting international teams. The Johnstones are now being joined by Mulipola, they are big boys who are slowly getting better at the set piece but still proving to be units in the loose.

I am gutted the 7s won't be at the London Olympics. Twickers is right there and would have provided the perfect intro.

I remember when Wales won a Sevens World Cup and thrashed Fiji 48-0. Go on Wales.

Thats right Kia. General rule is they're only the AB's if they win... censored but well done Fiji...shows theyve still got it.

3 tries were scored with 2 minutes to go. Just shows never to given up...
