im not that fussed about cleverly fighting weak opposition for money, there plenty of boxers doing the same. i just wish he would shut up about hopkins for a while, until hes actually prepared to go out and earn that fight.

My problem with it is that Bellew should have been given a rematch. I thought Bellew won the first fight and so did a lot of other people.

Cleverly said Bellew wasn't getting a rematch because he was moving on to bigger and better things then it comes out he's facing Krasniqi!

Danny McIntosh who Bellew fights in a couple of weeks is better than Krasniqi this is Clevs second soft touch and even by Warrens standards this is a very soft touch.. All this talk of B-Hop and Dawson is embarrassing. He should prove he's the best in Britain first.

Problem for Cleverly is that the Bellew fight was supposed to be a gimme not the highlight of his reign so far. It doesn't look good for the future.

He's not World class and probably never will be. Bellew proved it. Bellew isn't and will never be World class either. He was suppoosed to be one dimensional and chinny. He's nothing more than a token title holder. I would love to see him up against Syllakh just to see him get totally dominated. 120-108 on all three cards.

It will never happen though because the WBO would never make anyone who could actually beat him his mandatory and Warren wouldn't make a fight Cleverly could lose unless he had the other fighter under contract.

I believe Hopkins will lose against Dawson and if he does is Cleverley still going to be chasing him, he's nearly 50, Cleverley should focus on fighting someone younger he will get the same amount of credit but not the same amount of money i suppose.

dont think hes serious about fighting hopkins to be honest. hes just trying to make some headlines, and its no coincidence hes using the guy well known to calzaghes welsh fans to get himself heard. personally i think hopkins will be dawson comfortably.

I certainly won't be writing Hopkins off Lance, just didn't like the look of him in the first couple of rounds last time out, he could turn it around easy.

I reckon Dawson wins as well as long as he turns up. He has a habit of under performing and if he does boxing's Yoda will school him.

the first two rounds last time convinced me hopkins will win this. hopkins wandered around for 6 minutes without looking to engagae, clearly aiming to to take it easy as long as he could, to give himself as much in the tank as possible for the later rounds. and all dawson did was follow him and grapple, he never tried to hurry hopkins or open up on him. it was basically 2 rounds wasted for dawson. if hopkins can get to round four or five without using any energy then he has enough to fight dawson for the second half of the fight. if dawson pushed him for 12 rounds he might take a few counters early but he can wear hopkins down. i just dont think dawson has the workrate or the ring smarts to beat hopkins. he was lazy against pascal and it cost him, and judging from the first 2 rounds against hopkins he hasnt learned his lesson.

Got to admit I thought Hopkins looked a bit weak and Dawson looked far more ripped and hungry. Got a feeling this could finally be the bridge too far for Hopkins. In all his fights I've seen Hopkins has nearly always been physically more dominant. It's why I'll never rate him as highly as Jones Junior even if Roy gets knocked out up until he's 50. BHop was looking for a way out in the last fight as far as I'm concerned although I accept I could be mistaken as afterall it was less thean two rounds.

Dawson stops BHop late on.
