What do you think of Teimana Harrison?

So during the Saints vs Bath match the camera zoomed in on a Saints sub with a weird haircut whereby the commentators announced that that was the new 19 years old Saints prospect Teimana Harrison, the first thing that I thought of was: What is a young kiwi player doing in England?

So I did what I do best....I googled him

Firstly, this BBC article came up

Where it's states that he went to the same school as Dylan Hartley and the coach states that he's way better than Dylan. What surprised me was that a) he wants to represent England rather than the All Blacks and b) Dylan helped him get a contract with the Saints.



So why would a young talented player want to leave New Zealand for England, you say.... I googled a bit further until I found this article that could be the answer as to why someone wants to move as far away from New Zealand as possible...

So my questions are:
-What do you think of my findings?
-Would you mind if he played for England?

Sounds like a tragic accident and although I don't know anything about it the fact the kids mother backed the none sentence says enough.

As for whether he should play for England, if he qualifies and is good enough then why not?

It's certainly interesting as to why he decided to leave NZ to come and play in England.

One reason might be that his father is English and from Nottingham and has instilled a sense of his homeland in him since he was little.

Another might be the tragic jet ski accident where 3 school kids were foolishly messing about on jet skis, one fell off, then was fatally hit by a close following friend.

Personally, I wouldn't begrudge him either reason for relocating.

If he doesnt want to play for the New Zealand then we dont want him.

The thing is he only played for few minutes and already looks promising. Imagine if he gets more time and is so good he gets Lancaster's attention, you know there will be an uproar from the dailymail and its readers about "plastic Brits".

Let's hope they're sh*t at googling and don't find the kiwi article.
