Newcastle to sign Oliver Tomaszczyk
worcester-warriors-in-advanced-negotiations-with-tevita-taumoepeau-but-oliver-tomaszczyk-set-to-leave-66331-30617105
I remember him signing for Wuss a couple of years ago and thinking that he sounded like a decent player. He spent some time in Argentina, no mean feat for a front rower. At the time Richard Hill appeared to have big plans for him, but I've read other articles about his fitness being an issue.
Hopefully the warriors have missed a trick with him and Deano will knock him into shape. At 25, he is still fairly young for a prop, but you'd really want to see him start hitting his straps a bit.
On a side note, he's a tighthead , so I wonder if that means Euan Murray has made a decision.

WORCESTER legend Tevita Taumoepeau is on the brink of agreeing a deal that will see him remain at Sixways for at least another year.
With his contract up at the end of the current campaign their was uncertainty about the Tongan tighthead’s future.
But Warriors are in advanced negotiations with the veteran, who now looks set to join another Worcester great Tony Windo by playing well past his 38th birthday.
This will be welcome news to the Sixways faithful who have taken the player they call ‘Dave’ to their hearts since he joined from Bourgoin in 2005.
Friday’s night’s appearance against Newcastle was his 178th in the Blue and Gold and this season he has continued to turn in some outstanding scrummaging performances.
Taumoepeau will be challenged for his starting spot by new recruits Jon Andress, who has agreed to move from Exeter, and Rotherham’s Rob O’Donnell.
But Oliver Tomaszczyk looks to be on his way out, and set to return to former club Newcastle.
The Oxford University graduate is nearing the end of his second season with Worcester and although he has played 14 games this term, he has started only eight, and just one in the Premiership.
He was left out of the clash with Falcons on Friday.
Although former England Under 18 Tomaszczyk has all the physical tools to make an impact, he has not progressed as Richard Hill would have liked. The prop, nicknamed Tomahawk, has made 27 appearances since joining in June 2010.
