If you're struggling to find players for your squad, use www.transfermarkt.co.uk and search for players from your country, it should give you several options for your squad.
Each country is allowed to call up a maximum of FOUR legends from days gone by (seeing as it's a fantasy tournament).
The definite rule on Legends.
Players who are currently still active can be called up as legends, but it will take up one of your 4 legends spaces. Also the four legends in your squad must be labelled as legends to signify they are your four legends in their prime. I agree that it might be better if it was purely players who had retired, but I will leave the rule open so anyone could choose someone from years gone by or recent times. It widens the pool of players to be honest.
For example, Thierry Henry would be the guy running around the MLS, but Thierry Henry (Legend) would be the guy in his prime at Arsenal. And no, you can't have two of the same player (one as legend and one as normal) as that would be stupid.

- Spoiler:
- Seeing as it's little over 2 months until the real thing, just wondering who'd be interested in taking part in a fantasy version of the tournament?
Basically, 16 countries are taking part, so if we get 16 participants (myself plus 15) we all get randomly assigned a country, pick our own 23 man squad for that country, then we play out the real fixtures for the Tournament.
You write out your starting XI, short tactics and substitutions and the fixtures will be voted on by everyone not in the same group, ie if you're in Group A you only need to vote on Groups B, C and D.
Pre-existing suspensions do not affect who you can pick, ie Rooney available for England, Toulalan and Anelka available for France, etc.
Transfers between countries are not permitted.
Quarter finals/semi finals/final will be voted on by anyone who isn't in that tie.
So, who's in?

We're only a Spain teamsheet short!
I've decided to do a quick Denmark teamsheet with no instructions while they're managerless, just to give whoever's playing them something to go up against.
Spain on the other hand actually have a manager.

I was thinking Ched Evans and Emile Heskey discovering they were Croatian. Will they penetrate forcifully enough for you?

3-1 to germany?
Seriously? Tactically where did they beat me on that one?
Through the forward tactics of:
Might as well just stick a team sheet up next time.

Re: Euro 2012 Fantasy League
Sorry but it does take the michael that I've clearly put out the better tactics, I've thought about how Germany would set their stall out, I've done tactics to counterbalance it and exploit their weaknesses, I've pinpointed Boateng as the weak link in the team and stated that would be the main avenue of attack and people then just see a team sheet and vote 3-1 to Germany.

How is it?
I felt Germany's tactics were shorter, direct and more concise, yours seemed to go on forever. Looking at the 2 sides i felt the German side would win. The scoreline reflects the fact that being behind you would go more attacking and direct to chase the game, the German's would take advantage and break up until the point you have Moutinho start taking pot shots at the keeper.

Re: Euro 2012 Fantasy League
More concise?
Telling a striker to shoot at the goal is not a tactic. You simply looked at the team sheets and voted. And at what point do I instruct Moutinho to start taking potshots? You're making tactics up for me now!

Re: Euro 2012 Fantasy League
Sorry, not Moutinho, Meireles...
I voted you to lose. Get over it. It's just a game.
You don't hear me or anyone else crying about results. I used as many Greek references as i could remember to fire my side up, did i moan cause you voted for Poland? No.
At 80m exchange Moutinho for Meireles and have him attempting shots from distance.

It is just a game, it's just annoying that I've put a lot more effort in and I get voted down purely on a teamsheet vote.

It's not a teamsheet, it's my opinion. Which as a member of the human race and a participant of this game i am entitled to.
If it really bothers you, i'll happily review the score.

As do Greece.

It tells you how to vote at the top of the vote page, pretty much read tactics and choose the results of all the matches except those in your group.
