Most overrated boxers

Clue is in the question, who do you guys feel right now are the most overrated boxers in the world. I'm not really thinking by a sanctioning body here(we simply don't have the time) - more by, the public, a promoter or the media, such as HBO or The Ring.

My votes go to:-

Tim Bradley - p4p top 10? Really?
Julio Cesar Chavez jr. - Self explanatory really.
Saul Alvarez - I think his camp see Rhodes as another Hatton.

Who gets your vote and why...?

Pac is overrated imvho. Good boxer and great at the lower weights. But how good is he now is unknown until he fights a live opponent and the correct weight.

Beating upo starved guys is nothing.

Alvarez is seriously overrated. So is David Haye.

Come to think of it JCC jr should be removed from that list because he is really not rated that highly by the public.

Bradley is a good call, but will have to think about before I make an final decision.

Tough to answer because the public have varying overrated boxers depending on who you ask.

Dawson was a good call for last year but he has dropped down a bit in the public eyes.

Maybe the likes of Ward, who is talked about as the next big thing in America.

Lucian Bute has to be the most overrated active fighter out there. I think Abraham has always been quite overrrated, and Alvarez is up there too.

Michael Katsidis - was rated number 1 at lightweight for the past year
Orlando Salido - at number 4 in the featherweights seems a bit high

Boxrec overrate a lot of guys notably klitschkos at 3 and 4 and, sturm at 13 and khan at 17

Opinions matey. Being top 20 or 30 is not over-rating anyone. Its rating others higher. And you should know that ATG rating is highly subjective. But over the past 10 years Floyd has been the best by a long shot.

I mean, I wouldn't put Pac in the top 100 ATG. Seriously. He was fantastic at lowerweights. But since his rumoured use of roids and beating weight drained fighters, his status has diminished. That's my take.

And I will not allow this to be another Floyd/Pac thread. I will delete any post comparing the two. Forget merging anything.

If I could delete the poster doing any comparison, I would. 8)

I know people may think I'm wrong with maidana, but ever since khan he is being looked at as one of the best fighters around. He was outboxed by kotelnik and khan(majority of the fight). He os seriously flawed and khan made him look better than he is. He is a crude slugger and little more.

I also agree that Manny is slightly over-rated. I don't mean that he's not an ATG but looking at his recent opposition, he is being hyped up ATM more than he deserves. He has done very little for me at the so-called higher weights than his lower weight days.
