Because you all missed me :P
Was considering an april fools powuh rankings, but thats gone >_>
So have a mock draft on the house.
1. Colts: Andrew Luck, QB
The media is hyping up RG3 to try and make this an argument, but Luck is the guy.
2. Redskins: Robert Griffin III, QB
Shanahan finally gets his QB.
3. Vikings: Ryan Kalil's brother, T
The Vikings will give strong consideration to Claiborne, Blackmon and trade offers, but ultimately settle for a franchise LT. Ponder isn’t going to develop without consistent blindside protection.
4. Browns: Trent Richardson, RB
You only take a RB this high if he’s a special prospect. Cleveland is devoid of offensive playmakers, can take a WR with its 2nd first, and I simply don’t think Tannehill is a fit.
5. Buccaneers : Morris Claiborne, CB
Barber is 36 and Talib is always threatening a trip to the commish’s office. The Bucs addressed some offensive holes in FA and take the best CB here to beef up the defense.
6. Rams: Justin Blackmon, WR
Bradford needs playmakers. The Rams are delighted to see Blackmon drop this far.
7. *Trade* Eagles: Ryan Tannehill, QB
The Eagles jump Miami to grab its QB of the future. The Eagles have nobody good behind Vick at this point, and Reid can mold Tannehill.
8. Dolphins: Michael Floyd, WR
Miami briefly considers folding as a franchise. They then beef up their offensive weapons.
9. Panthers: Quinton Coples, DE
Carolina needs defensive help, and Coples has consistently drawn comparisons to perhaps the best player in franchise history.
10. Bills: Melvin Ingram, DE
The Bills just spent $140m on pass rushers. However as the Giants have shown, getting to Tom Brady is the key to beating him. Who the Bills coincidentally face twice a year.
11. Chiefs: Dontari Poe, NT
Overdrafted perhaps, but Kansas City needs a big NT in the middle of its DL.
12. Seattle Seahawks: David DeCastro, G
No matter who starts at QB this year, they’ll need kept upright. Seattle goes OL in the first for the 3rd time in 3 years.
13. *Trade* Lions: Janoris Jenkins, CB
Detroit gambles on talent and reaches for Jenkins.
14. Cowboys: Dre Kirkpatrick, CB
Instant upgrade at CB or S in Dallas.
15. *Trade* Titans: Fletcher Cox
Jason Jones walked in FA, so the Titans jump up for a disruptive influence inside.
16. Jets: Riley Reiff, T
Wayne Hunter was terrible at RT so the Jets opt to replace him via the draft.
17. Bengals: Stephen Gilmore, CB
A reach perhaps, but Hall is coming off a big injury and Joseph walked last year.
18. Chargers: Cordy Glenn, T
Marcus McNeil is gone, and Jared Gaither gives them flexibility as to how they arrange their OL.
19. Bears: Whitney Mercilus, DE
Chicago needs somebody opposite Peppers.
20. Jaguars: Kendall Wright, WR
An instant upgrade over the entire Jaguars WR corps and gives Gabbert a credible target.
21. *Trade* Patriots: Nick Perry, DE/OLB
New England needs to get to the QB and Mark Anderson just walked.
22. *Trade* Giants: Luke Kuechly, MLB
Jerry Reese loves value and Kuechly is good value at 22.
23. Cardinals: Mike Adams, T
Levi Brown is back but he isn’t very good. Adams gives them flexibility to put him at RT.
24. Steelers: Donta Hightower, MLB
Competition at inside backer in Pittsburgh.
25. Broncos: Michael Brockers, DT
Bunkley walked in FA so the Broncos need to toughen the interior of their DL.
26. *Trade* Ravens: Courtney Upshaw
Another toy for the Ravens defense.
27. Bengals: Lamar Miller, RB
The Bengals add to their RB rotation, Miller should complement BJGE nicely.
28. Texans: Stephen Hill, WR
The Texans haven’t had a difference maker opposite AJ yet. Their offense gets even more dangerous.
29. Packers: Peter Konz, C
Saturday is just a stop gap at this point, Konz can play reserve along the interior OL his rookie year.
30. *Trade* Eagles: Devon Still, DT
Andy Reid gets aggressive for the 2nd time in the draft, Still further improves the Eagles run D as a part time player year 1.
31. Patriots: Mark Barron, S
The best safety of a poor class, Barron improves the secondary in NE.
32. Browns: Alshon Jeffrey, WR
Another offensive weapon on a team lacking them.

I like that you gave the Bucs MoClay. After that, I'm pretty surprised at some. Kafka has looked alright at times for the Eagles don't see them taking Tannehill who is really pretty average. Think Hightower gets to the second.
Welcome back, looking at last year's Mock Draft made me realise that half the AF forum is gone!

Re: Because you all missed me :P
Kafka's just a guy. He's never going to be starter material. Tannehill's gonna be overdrafted as the 3rd QB in a 2 QB draft but a couple of years under 2 of the best QB coaches in the league and he could be a top starter.
Hightower's one of those guys who could easily slip in the cracks in the late 1st imo

Matt Kalil then. At least it was an NFL player.
Wasn't the worst mistake I made tho, forgot the Jags existed first time

I think most Jags fans are trying to do that.

"Miami briefly considers folding as a franchise."
At last another team takes on the mantle of "trying harder t fail than succeed" from the Skins.
I actually can't see the Eagles trading up as I don't think they can offer enough, not to mention their horrendous cap situation in a year or 2. I reckon the Phins will take Tannehill now they have no other choices left.

They have 2 mid range 2nd rounders to play with, plus as the Skins showed, you can trade future selections :P

like the trades, possible the Cowboys for Kirkpatrick, gotta sneaky feeling though it might be pass rush and a CB in the 2nd, a deep deep pool at cb

Well apparently the Eagles are now taking a look at Tannehill, as are the chiefs...

Given how much they're paying Spencer to return, I'm guessing they'll upgrade the secondary first
