OK, OK - I offer an unreserved apology to all the reasonable Welsh fans out there.
Just a bit fed up with all the automatic anti-English stuff

Ridiculous post. By saying Hartley was, possibly, acting in self defence is insinuating that Ferris was somehow at fault. Even though there was no mention of it in the report, or anywhere, apart from a few on this site with too much time on their hands and over active minds.

It was a good edit. Your point was insulting. Think before you post next time.

Maest
THat was quite patronising
I was responding (possible unadvisedly) to some vitriolic posts by some particularly one-eyed posters.
In retrospect, maybe I should have left it alone.
however, I don't believe that you are the guardian of my actions and I do not recognise your right to lecture me on my behaviour.
However, thank you for your concern

Re: A reasonable and balanced poll on the Hartley/Ferris incident
I am offering you advice. I read some of your early posts, they were good, interesting, but you have become far more interested in posting rubbish that you know is written trying to annoy people.
Discussing rugby is what most of us would rather do.

Re: A reasonable and balanced poll on the Hartley/Ferris incident
Ok, this was a wind up, true.
I am passionate about rugby and (usually) try to be fair minded.
However, occasionally I get annoyed by what seems to be, as previously stated, an automatic anti-English viewpoint, albeit from a small number of posters.
This was supposed to be a slightly barbed dig at them.
If it offended you, I apologise as I had no counted you as one of them.

When you say Welsh, Irish, Scottish or English you address all by that title, not a chosen few.
If you wish to do that call specific names out don't tar people with the same brush its rude.
No need to reply, my point is made. You have clearly understood it too.

I am rational and think that people that put up boring polls should be banned/executed.

Works for me Laurie
In my own defense, however, before it was brutally edited it wasn't quite as boring.

Re: A reasonable and balanced poll on the Hartley/Ferris incident
I voted 'Other'
It would have been 'I am unsure what the truth is, so I will reserve judgement'
Except the citing committee should have gone the same way.
A complete abrogation of responsibility. And taking a punt on reality.

Portnoy
I tend to agree except if they ruled out self defence and Hartley admitted biting, they actually had no choice.
To be honest, it should never have come in front of the citing commissioners in the first place.
