Frankly, I did not expect Bubba Jesus to play this well on the final day.

Had Westy in Kwini's competition, so I guess that's a reasonable week. 4th is $384,000 so a good pick.

Pretty poor from Lawrie, a top 16 should have been the minimum he achieved as it would have meant he was coming back next year. I am sure he could easily fall from the top 50 and wish he had a major to help claw his way back in,come this time next year.

Forgetting his general weakness with the putter if LW hadn't missed the 18 incher that my dead Gran could have holed he'd have had a great shot at winning this. He'll wake up sweating about that one for years.

Oosty or Bubba, I think I'd rather Bubba but it's marginal. Mainly because it would annoy Super who doesnt rate him really, would even up the Woods stick he will be dishing out.

Thankfully for lee there are so many other examples of terrible errors he has made come major sunday I doubt his brain will be able to focus on a specific incident. Not that a general feeling of dread will be any healthier for him.

Poor tee shot from Oosty. This could be the much awaited twist.

Phil just 2 shot behind with 3 holes to go. C'mon, get a kookaburra on the 16th.

They were remarking there that maybe Westy shouldn't leave just yet, but I was wondering has there ever been a case of someone believing when they were finished they had no chance of winning and leaving and then subsequently having to return?

A player spent some time in the commentary booth at the PGA some time ago, when he held clubhouse lead, and should have been out on the range. Lost to Tiger in play off?

Didn't Richie Ramsey do that last year at IFQ for US Open, believed he had no chance so left for the airport, only to find out there was a 3way tie and he was to late for playoff time he got back which Johan Edofrs then won.

It still takes some balls from Westwood to keep giving himself chances considering how painful it must be to keep just missing out. if he can keep doing that, he will eventually get his reward. It would be a lot easier to pull a Sergio "Oh, poor me".

Even if he loses this play-off, this performance I believe has knocked off any perceived asterisk that may have accompanied his Open win.

We will at least have a 2-way playoff. Phil needs an Eagle or a kookaburra on the 18th. Looking at his tee shot, it isn't happening.

Well, it was a stupid series of mistakes by Phil for that triple bogey. That was about as farcical as the French farce at Carnousti.
