Loyalty Empty Loyalty

Post by Doon the Water Wed Apr 11, 2012 8:54 pm

What is it with companies and their total lack of respect to loyal customers.
Insurance of Car/House put about 30% on the previous years premium then after one rant of a phone call drop it back to where it should have been in the first place.

The National Trust has just lost £40 a year on my membership. They are offering new members 18 months membership for the price of 12 months.
I cancelled my family membership [ I have 4 grandchildren and my two daughters are both family members] basically means they are getting paid for six kids when there is only two [not that we minded].
Anyway rejoined as an oldie couple saving £40 and the grandkids bring their family ticket with them when they come with us.

That's £100 saved in two days.

House insurance has been with the PRU for donkeys years.
30 % increase on last year, one telephone call and a very embarressed operator knocks £60 off to make it cheaper than last year.

Adam we live are about 6 miles from Culzean and use it often.
If you want to get in for free park at Maidens beach and walk up through the woods, about a mile walk. [don't tell anyone else]

Insurance companies are here to make money in business just like every other company. If they can get away with higher premiums then they will.

Saved another £10 by buying a load of postage stamps. Best investment going at the moment over 10%.
At least I will if I can remember where I have stored them.
