League Breakdown and Rules
- Spoiler:
- Welcome to the 606v2 Euro Division
Where this will be different to the existing leagues is that the sides involved are entirely made up.
You don't inherit a pre-made European side.
Instead you make your own.
You would initially start with £150m with which to buy a MINIMUM of 15 players and a MAXIMUM of 23 players.
The prices for these players are determined entirely through the transfermarkt website.
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/
But here's where it gets interesting...the prices that are used on transfermarkt are the minimum you can bid, because other people in the league may also want the same person, so do you risk bidding the flat fee or do you bid more (increased bids have to be a minimum £500k more), the other point of note at this stage is that the maximum value player you can bid on is £15m (though you can choose to bid more than the £15m to get the player)
You then get an ADDITIONAL £50m with which to purchase upto 2 STAR players (min 1), though the maximum you can spend on 1 player is £35m.
This will then result in you having a team of a minimum of 16 players and maximum of 25 players.
You then have to name the team, give it a location where they play their home games and send this via PM to myself and Sodhat before the cut off point (to be decided).
Results of who got which player will then be announced and for those that lost out on players due to being outbid, a second chance is available to acquire players before the league starts, and third etc if needed.
Number of leagues is dependent upon how many players participate.
Foreign transfers.
As the only deciding factor for selling a player is cash then there shouldn't be wrangles over if a TP is accepted or not, if you have the cash you can buy!
TPs though will only go through once a week on a Sunday night for the week ahead.
Max transfer value for bringing in a player from foreign transfers is £15m in Season 1.
You can only make 2 foreign transfers per week.
Domestic transfers
Players can move only twice between domestic clubs per season, once they have moved twice you will have to wait until the following season to sell to another domestic club.
They can though be released or sold to an outside club.
For anyone that joins the league after it begins then the following rule applies for the first two weeks:
Transfers between 2 domestic clubs must be within 20% of each other in total monetary value. So for example if Team A wish to buy a player from Team B worth £10m then they must offer between £8-£12m in player/cash value.
Note that once 2 weeks have passed then the manager is allowed to but and sell as they please but this rule is in place to combat the usual bombardment of silly offers that litter the new managers page.
Injuries
Injuries shall be announced once per week on a Sunday night, they shall consist of 2 players, one based from the team picked for the previous weeks game and one from the entire squad.
Tactics
Each week you shall play 1 game, either league or cup (no more than one game per week though), tactics for this game shall consist of a team sheet, injuries for your team, if your team is home or away and a maximum of 15 bullet point lines worth of team instructions.
As well as the tactical instructions you are allowed 2 extra lines of a team talk to motivate your players, show your worth not just for tactics but how you build players up for the game!
Cash
Each week you receive 2m for a win, 1m for a draw, zilch for a loss.
You also receive an extra £2m per week for ensuring your tactics are handed in on time and you've voted on the results.
Each week there shall be a £1m cash bonus to the team voted best tactics.
Hopefully this is enough to entice to sign up! If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to ask and I look forward to seeing your team sheets!

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page VIII
Notice I didn't say anything about how Fabragas is playing this season. I just thought in last night's game, he looked the weak link in attack.
Thiago created a few chances in the last 10 mins and nearly scored via Puyol's header. I see him taking over from Xavi when he retires.

Its not ideal that what. Doesnt fit in your pocket, you look stupid holding it to your ear when on the phone. What doyou lot think of the Samsung Note it's a tablet/mobile
Pros: it can do some amazing shiznit.
If you want a phone Viva I very strongly recommend the Samsung Nexus. So much easier to do stuff on than an iPhone.

Real Madrid v Chelsea.
Chelsea can get a draw in the Nou Camp, with the right amount of luck and skill.

I reckon Chelsea will try to score an early goal, meaning Barca need three to go through. I think they'll get to the final against Bayern

I don't think Chelsea will be able to do it, but it's a nice thought.
Bayern won't go quietly but I'd back Real too, so I predict the dream final is made, Barca/Real. And I then predict a riot.

Galaxy S2 is nice. Mrs has one. Can get all game apps and stuff being Android. My personal opinion, Galaxy S2 for people who want everthing set up, Galaxy Nexus for thos who want to have more control over there setup. One of my work mates got one of those looks nice, a bit big but he says its better then the Iphone 4s plus you get everything updated live on the main screen. If you root it you get so much more out of the phone. But it voids the warranty so im waiting a year before I root mine.

I profited with Drogba 1st goalscorer. Would of like barca to come back and win as I had HT Chelsea FT Barca at 25/1.
Mighty was unlucky, he had Drogs first 1-1 at 55/1. I was actually gutted for him when Barca hit the post in the last min.

My dad's mate had £10 on 1-0 Chelsea at 14/1, not a bad night for him at all!
I wouldn't bet too heavily on Chelsea going through to the final though, even if I think they might do it, it's highly unlikely.

I think the Samsung S2 would be better for me. I like wasting money on things I don't really need.
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page VIII
Unlucky Mighty. As I said I felt gutted for you mate.
Twitter was pure joke during the 1st half, too many Drogba jokes.
If that was Ashley Young the media and people would be going mad. As its Drogba in the #CL it seems to be "Oh Drogbas on the floor again" and its fine. Ive heard very little about "diving" compared to Young after the QPR or Villa match. F'ing discrace.
IMO because its in the #CL the media wont jump on it and ostracize Drogs. Even if that was in the #PL they wouldnt because Chelsea are not top!
Keep on hating haters #MUFC #Believe20 is a matter of time

It annoys me when our fans think that the FA, UEFA is against and all these silly conspiracies that only we get punished and same the other way around when rivals think we get all the decisions.
It's swings and roundabouts, on day we'll get a lot of it the next another team, Drogba in the past has been criticized about his diving.

Moss is pretty good for value. M&S do loads too.
I don't spend much on suits anymore. I used to, but they didn't last long so I decided to go cheap and cheerful.

That BBC article doesnt pay tribute to the fact Man United came in above MLB's New York Yankees and NFL's Dallas Cowboys.
