Eden Hazard
Why Manchester United fans SHOULDN'T be drooling over the prospect of signing Hazard:
Right, I'll just get this out of the way, and hopefully someone will actually read this, understand this, and accept this.
First of all - Hazard is overrated. He's had one great season last season, and an OK one this season. He does very little at international level, and in all honesty, has been outshined by JOE COLE this season at Lille. [I actually watch full games unlike most people who base a players ability off of a Youtube complilation :')]
He has a terrible ego. An ego like Sturridges. He is selfish, demands a lot, complains a lot, and is known to bring down morale. Manchester United pride themselves on having possibly the greatest mindset that a club has ever had. Man Utd have a desire and never-say-die attitude. Hazard would hurt that.
As for on the pitch, he's an attacking midfielder, who's simply used out of position on the wing at Lille so he 'fits in' with the formation. Manchester United won't be changing from a 4-4-2 to anything new any time soon.
Utd use their wingers as actual WINGERS, who get to the byline, get in a cross, which will hopefully be met by a striker. Hazard instead likes to play much further up, and will rarely cross, as he prefers to cut inside and take a shot at goal - Which rarely actually results in a goal.
Ashley Young has amazing pace and great crossing, as does Valencia, and Nani has amazing dribbling and a terrific shot on him. Hazard isn't even a scratch on any of those players.
Btw hope I posted this in the right section, cheers.
