Wilbraham OUT for rest of season

Norwich City striker Aaron Wilbraham will be out for the rest of the season following a back operation.

The 31-year-old has not featured since he opened his Canary goalscoring account in the 3-2 win over Leicester early last month.

Wilbraham joined the Canaries from MK Dons on January 1 on an 18-month deal.

The Knutsford-born forward joined The Dons in July 2005 from Hull City on a free transfer and has made a total of 204 appearances for MK in all competitions, scoring 57 goals.

I've never really been a fan of Wilbraham really, he seems like a footballing journeyman and I don't think he can offer much to Norwich with age against him too.

he was beggining to hit a bit of form here and has been a very good targetman and held the ball up when he has played. so its a shame he is now out

I just think that there is surely someone around who could do a better job than him. Anyway good luck for the rest of the season, I like Norwich, nice fans, despise Paul Lambert though, a mean, bully of a man.

thank you phil. there probarly is but with limited resources you can only get what you can afford. Hopefully Pachecho and Vokes give us that little boost needed.
