Deiniol Jones to retire

Jones joined the Cardiff Blues in 2004 from the Celtic Warriors having made his international debut against Samoa in November 2000. He has been one of the most consistent players for the Blues being the first player to reach 100 games for the region and gone on to make 175 appearances.

That means that he won’t be joining the Dragons at the end of the season as rumoured. Good club player for the Blues though, wish him the best for his future.

All the best to him and a good regional player but am glad he's freed up a position at the Blues for their up and coming youngsters and isn't going to hold back any Dragons youngsters.
