Once again the Jeff produces a thuddingly predictable finale
Dead rubbers everywhere and from weeks out, nothing to play for.
And it's the same year after turgid year.
It's so predictable.
Can I suggest a playoff system? That could brighten up the end of the season

I have never done this before, and apologise if it damages our recent good relations but.....

Because of the playoff, relegation, and hc rugby (depending on saints exeter result) wont be any meaningless games with noting riding on them in the premiership this year.
Take out the playoffs and there will wouldve been quite a few.
Theres a reason every major league has them, doubly so in a world cup year.

I'm used to it LT.
But I only have to remain constant to my own beliefs. Just because they differ from the mainstream, does it make me wrong?
As I've said before, my records are not broken - they are just not in the top 100. But still playing as new.
And LT, I would never allow a difference of opinion to spoil a relationship - my best mate (a rugby agnostic) of 25 years or so is a Daily Mail reader.

Strangely the biggest professional world sport never has.
I am still planning my analysis of the affect of the RWC on the Jeff this year. And it will be as objective as I can make it.

Portnoy, just because they differ from the mainstream doesn't necessarily make them right. Nor does repeating them ad nauseam? Nothing wrong with remaining constant to your beliefs, as long as you remain open and willing to have them changed? Here, have one of these: will we be seeing you for the Heino final?Portnoy wrote:I'm used to it LT.

I thought you dislike professional sports?
Take a look at the Rabbo. What a boring waste of time that wouldve been without playoffs.
