Why was my post removed??????

I posted a FACTUAL piece earlier today on Herbie Hides latest unfortunate involvement with the law. I didn't write anything inaccurate or inflammotory in my opinion and yet it appears to have dissapeared without even the courtesy of an explanation.

I had respect for the way these boards were being moderated but i find this disrespectful and laughable.

i won't bother in future if the 606 Police can't display a degree of common sense!

The problem with the article is not the way its written, but because at this stage it is purely allegations and we have to be careful for libellous articles.

Please do not discuss the content of the article just yet.

You should work for the papers. They shouldn't be allowed to post names until he's found guilty. To his character it doesn't matter if he's guilty or innocent now, it will stick.

Maybe you're right Scott, maybe you're not but it doesn't change the fact IT IS being reported in the press does it so i've hardly broke a world exclusive. I was merely attempting to be informative.

Can i please ask that the Hide story is not talked about on the board.
Whether it is mentioned in the press is irrelevant as the press can be sued.
Because they are allegations at this stage, we, as a forum have to be very careful about libellous content.
