Sky sports website say - Hazard for Chelsea http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7784280/It-s-Chelsea-for-Hazard (but also still has a story up edited today saying Hazard has agreed a deal with a club but wants to wait before revealing it)

You need to read reports about him, see his stats and know he is a fantastic player that has the qualities to improve utd ten fold imo.
10 fold? I'll presume he is as good as Messi then, probably better.
Like I said I'll take your word he is decent (not the propoganda) but really his stats are alright for a guy who plays as a am in a 451 for Germanys best team, 21 goals and 9 assists in 2 seasons.
I mean Nani has 18 goals and 26 assists in the last 2 seasons (plus 2 goals in community shield vs city) yet people think he is crap.
Kagawa may well be a good player and I hope he is a world beater, but I can't see it - or see him turning us into trophy winners.

I wouldn't say Nani is crap, he's just too inconsistent game to game, like Wigan.

Don't quite know where you have those stats from on Kagawa.
This season he scored 22 goals and provided 15 assists
Last season he scored 15 goals and provided 5 assists.

I think its plainly obvious Hazard was swayed by Chelsea's physio.
Gonna be plenty of groin 'strains' for young Eden this year

Re: Big Premier League Signings
That's if we get kagawa, they've apparently rejected 13 million and for a player who you could get on a free next year would we really go in with more money?? I'm not gonna. Omment on him though as I know little about him but given our current squad we need more than him to challenge on both league and European fronts
As for our current wingers all 4 of them have flaws
Nani is the most infuriating player ever, world beater on his day but they can be few and far between, I don't think he's got the consistency in him and will always blow hot and cold
Young is probably the most predictable player I have ever seen, and not in a good way. Cut inside and shoot. Youre a winger learnto cross every now and then
Valencia will run and run and run, you know what you get with him, but sometimes he's not selfish enough and play breaks down as result of him trying to find a team mate when the better option would be to shoot
Park - earns his wage in shirt sales in Asia but nowhere near good enough on the ball, he'll run and run and run, but he's a bit of a headless chicken
Missing out on Hazard will hurt Fergie, even of he does come across as a bit of a pr!ck over this recent transfer. That's second season running where he's missed out on a target to a rival club

I really do assume that the wages are more or less similar as he agreed with all three and then made his mind up.

Agreed, I don't see their being any major difference in what was offered by each club, fair chunk of money a week though and he'll have alot of hype to live up to
Hero - any links for the reports mate? Although I think we'd all agree one player isn't gonna make us world beaters

13m was never going to get him really. In today's money, a talented player like himself who is just 23 years old, bags of talent and a creative cm that we need, I wouldn't mind going to 15m. Hazzard is going for almost 30m, its a bargain if you ask me. He said he wants to leave, so Dortmund won't keep a player who doesn't want to play for their club, and also why would they keep him for a year only to lose him on a free, instead of cashing in now and getting 15m.
Nani is the most infuriating player ever, world beater on his day but they can be few and far between, I don't think he's got the consistency in him and will always blow hot and cold
I think its true of him from three or four years ago, but he was our best player the season before last with double figures for goals and assists and wa splayer of the season. Last season he was unlucky with injuries and never really got going after it, not uncommon as many players suffer with this problem, no matter how good you are. I think he's quality and certainly doesn't deserve the criticism he's getting from certain utd fans.
Young is probably the most predictable player I have ever seen, and not in a good way. Cut inside and shoot. Youre a winger learnto cross every now and then
He may be predictable, but his crossing is one of the best in the league, perhaps the world from that left hand side. He whips the ball in with great pace and causes problems for defenders. I think he's trying to add another dimension to his game in that fake cross he has performed a few times, something I want him to do more often, as almost everytime he did it, the defender was nowhere to be seen as a result. Many wingers are predictable. Left footers on the right wing cut inside purposely to shoot, same for right footers on the left wing, its the modern game. Also as we saw with England, he's quite useful in the no.10 role off the striker.
Valencia will run and run and run, you know what you get with him, but sometimes he's not selfish enough and play breaks down as result of him trying to find a team mate when the better option would be to shoot
I see what you mean but I think he does a a good job. He is a little more selfish than you give him credit for, with that shift of the ball then a cross is simple but effective.
Park - earns his wage in shirt sales in Asia but nowhere near good enough on the ball, he'll run and run and run, but he's a bit of a headless chicken
I agree with this point. Technically he's quite poor and doesn't really have the ability to take people on. I'd keep him as a squad player and in case we have injuries. Be nice if we had a young academy player coming through who plays on the wing, that would be ideal.
Missing out on Hazard will hurt Fergie, even of he does come across as a bit of a pr!ck over this recent transfer. That's second season running where he's missed out on a target to a rival club[/quote]

Re: Big Premier League Signings
I hear 15m euro's, so about 13m for one of Europe's most highly rated players, who would probably cost around 25m if he had three years left on his current contract. Only cost few hundred thousand for Dortmund and was one of the main reasons why they won back to back titles. Very good buy, hopefully rap it up soon, not bothered about Hazzard, seems very self-obsessed and too much of an ego to be at utd.

Considering Fergie was in for Hazard to the tune of 30m, I'd say he wasn't worried about the ego.

Yes but I'm thinking going forward, we've only ever had one or two, and Kagawa seems more level headed and just as talented as Hazzard, and possibly 15m cheaper also.

Be interesting how Goetze does at the Euro's. If he has a good tournament, Dortmund could be looking at a few 30m+ offers coming their way.

Götze's not possible to sign though. People shouldn't think Dortmund are a selling club to "bigger clubs". They've established themselves as the best team in Germany by a mile and could do well in next season's CL.

Whilst Kagawa is departing they've already got Reus coming in who's absolute quality and the thought of him and a fully fit Gotze marauding forward is pretty scary.

its 15m euro's is what I hear so more like 12m, and its actually good he's only got a year left either we would be looking at 20m+. Just look at his stats Myst, they speak for themselves he's a quality player. You think how inflated today's prices are for players in the modern game, this is a steal if you ask me.

I will check him out, i admit to knowing nothing about him. Havent heard of any japanese superstars. But i suppose the german league is quite physical like the PL so he could be upto the challenge and if he is it is pretty cheap.
Just abit concerend that man u keep getting these sort of players. surely they need at least one massive signing

Yes but he signed two years ago from a Japanese club and ironically Dortmund won two bundesliga titles in consecutive years. He's a quality player and I'm surprised we are getting him this cheap.
Last year he played 45 games, scored 21 and also contributed 8 assists, very impressive in a successful side also. He's not a name like Snjeider but definately has the ability to be.

Man u can get players like that cheap- japan love the pl and the players probally see man u as being the pinnacle team. So i am not surprised by the fact that they have got him. As much as we like to downgrade the quaity or draw the PL is still a massive brand.
