The Country Club mentality
I see the PGA Tour is having its event at Quail Hollow a private members only golf club. Now in my opinion "Country Clubs" are all about who can't play there rather than who can. Is it a good thing for the PGA to actually encourage this practice by holding events in these places?

Re: The Country Club mentality
These days Lorus membership of the country clubs is more about money than class.
So in that respect anyone can join provided they have enough money.
I have generally found that folk with lots of money have no class

I believe cypress point was dropped for some unsavoury membership criteria, that and only being about 6400 yards.

I thought it was suggested to CP that to remain on the rota they'd have to change their membership practices and CP told them to bog off, they didn't need them thank-you very much. Doesn't much look like they do either.

You could be right, I suspect Kwini will know the score. I think there was a PGA championship venue (Shoal Creek?) that had some unsavoury membership criteria as well.
