Decided on a Chinese , it was very nice . Watched the footy in the pub then drowned my sorrows ended up at some mat of a mates house playing poker till 2 this morning , regretting it now

You moving around OK? I found that when I drank a bit... I forgot about the leg. Felt good after I had a few then next morning it was as if I'd had a physio session.

Got to love alcohol for removing any pain.... for a few hours

LB was right though it comes back ten fold , i feel a hair of the dog is needed

I can honestly say that i dont think i have every drunk so much in one night before

i caught up very quickly mind you i think the tequila slammers helped

How many drinks... about 15 or more? A big night out for me is only 7-8... and I'm fairly smashed afterwards.

After about 8 pints, i am pretty happy myself as well

we call them backslammers , because after a few your on your back .

You drink half the bottle of beer pour your tequila into it the put your hand the top slam it down then drink it in one

so no lemon involved... sounds good.

Good old Goochie , i remember watching that innings

I was in the UK at the time... and just about to leave London for a holiday in Greece & Turkey. I loved his "333" bat afterwards.

Yes my mate bought one , i was so jealous

I used to like the Gunn & Moore bats too when I was a kid.

I used to prefer to big heavy DF bats

I had a Grey Nichols bat, lovely balance

I had one aswell , i used to go through 1 bat a season

It was the sccop bat breaker. Stll have it as well

They were great. I was sort of jealous of this fat kid who had one. It had good 'springs' from memory.

I had to save up every year to get a new bat or pads , but there was this kid who got bought anything he wanted always had the newest bat or gloves

I found this old cricket ball... it must be from the late 70s or early 80s.
It was hidden away in this box I found. It's so dry and cracked. I don't know what to do with it... or how to restore it?
Maybe just leave it as it is.
