You should put some lining on the rafters and spread some cushions around the attic. That's what they do in Japan - they call it the "Men's Space"... no women allowed except for cleaning and removing the empty bottles, wiping the spunk of the floor/walls, etc.

Mate, first day back for me was hell too. Up 4 flights of stairs on crutches a few times a day... I was knackered. Everyone was so nice to me but that in itself was tiring. After a day or 2 one of the directors sent me home again (on 75% pay). I had another month off from then but still wasn't ready mentally and physically. (don't tell people at work 'I feel great, etc' just play it down and keep it serious if possible)
