I suppose they'll give him a crack... What about other top order batsmen? Is Carberry too old or out of form?

Re: The Reaction Game
I've heard good things about Taylor. Is he the short guy with an aggressive batting style or am I thinking of someone else?

Re: The Reaction Game
Nope thats the one, he is also a pretty good player of spin so might come in handy in the sub continent.

You'll need it. It's a tough gig there and India seems to be slightly on the up.

They have been looking stronger again so it will be a tough time for whoever gets picked.

If they come away with a draw it will be a good result.

Yeah, 2 Tests... maybe 1-0 at least to India. Hope I'm wrong though. Would really like to see England win there again.

Re: The Reaction Game
A test series is not a test series unless its 5 tests in my opinion, i hate these little test visits.

Re: The Reaction Game
It's stupid - they sort of break them up into 'home & away' but make it years apart. 3 tests minimum but 5 is the real thing.

5 tests is the real deal as far as i am concerned. The best way to measure two teams

Re: The Reaction Game
I think he was anu_d. He/she (apparently the name is feminine and all the Indian posters on the old 606 gave him/her a very hard time).
He.... or she is pretty clever and knowledgeable but can go on and on about one point forever.

Yeah... I wonder how he is going? He was good for a laugh. Do you remember hblove? I thought it might be LivingInItaly (because he was) but from memory he was late 30s not early 30s like LiI.

Re: The Reaction Game
There were some cracking posters that never made the transition over here. In the beginning, many of the people who set this up were very aggresive in trying to get posters signed up that it put them off. Shame really.

Re: The Reaction Game
I think it just shows how great people were that they could create such things with the tools that were available
I was born in the wrong century i would of loved to of been around 100 odd years ago apart from the whole war thing obviously .

Re: The Reaction Game
Thanks for the 'kind' words guys. Yes, it's all my fault.
You know Kenny... I love the smell of factories. The bits of cut steel (swarf) and oil and grease.
Also, Karen on the front desk when she asks me to sign in and then hands me the visitors tag thing.
