- Spoiler:
- Tactics & Voting
Tactics and voting are to be in promptly on the dates required.
If these deadlines are not met then the following happens:
1. The offending party receives a -1 goal to their score immediately.
2. If after 24 hours they have failed to still hand in tactics/votes then they receive a default loss for that week.
3. If this happens on a regular basis the manager shall be removed from their position.
If there is a valid reason as to why you cannot provide tactics or votes on time then this must be informed to the league runner as soon as possible.
Media Page
Each week 5 questions are provided by reporters, everyone has the opportunity to answer these for a 1m boost to kitty.
Manager of the Month
Every month there is a poll put up for manager of the month (the previous month's winner is excluded), the winner gets to use a magic sponge on a player that is injured at any point the following month to recover that player for that week.
League Breakdown and Rules
- Spoiler:
- Welcome to the 606v2 Euro Division
Where this will be different to the existing leagues is that the sides involved are entirely made up.
You don't inherit a pre-made European side.
Instead you make your own.
You would initially start with £150m with which to buy a MINIMUM of 15 players and a MAXIMUM of 23 players.
The prices for these players are determined entirely through the transfermarkt website.
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/
But here's where it gets interesting...the prices that are used on transfermarkt are the minimum you can bid, because other people in the league may also want the same person, so do you risk bidding the flat fee or do you bid more (increased bids have to be a minimum £500k more), the other point of note at this stage is that the maximum value player you can bid on is £15m (though you can choose to bid more than the £15m to get the player)
You then get an ADDITIONAL £50m with which to purchase upto 2 STAR players (min 1), though the maximum you can spend on 1 player is £35m.
This will then result in you having a team of a minimum of 16 players and maximum of 25 players.
You then have to name the team, give it a location where they play their home games and send this via PM to myself and Sodhat before the cut off point (to be decided).
Results of who got which player will then be announced and for those that lost out on players due to being outbid, a second chance is available to acquire players before the league starts, and third etc if needed.
Number of leagues is dependent upon how many players participate.
Foreign transfers.
As the only deciding factor for selling a player is cash then there shouldn't be wrangles over if a TP is accepted or not, if you have the cash you can buy!
TPs though will only go through once a week on a Sunday night for the week ahead.
Max transfer value for bringing in a player from foreign transfers is £15m in Season 1.
You can only make 2 foreign transfers per week.
Domestic transfers
Players can move only twice between domestic clubs per season, once they have moved twice you will have to wait until the following season to sell to another domestic club.
They can though be released or sold to an outside club.
For anyone that joins the league after it begins then the following rule applies for the first two weeks:
Transfers between 2 domestic clubs must be within 20% of each other in total monetary value. So for example if Team A wish to buy a player from Team B worth £10m then they must offer between £8-£12m in player/cash value.
Note that once 2 weeks have passed then the manager is allowed to but and sell as they please but this rule is in place to combat the usual bombardment of silly offers that litter the new managers page.
Injuries
Injuries shall be announced once per week on a Sunday night, they shall consist of 2 players, one based from the team picked for the previous weeks game and one from the entire squad.
Tactics
Each week you shall play 1 game, either league or cup (no more than one game per week though), tactics for this game shall consist of a team sheet, injuries for your team, if your team is home or away and a maximum of 15 bullet point lines worth of team instructions.
As well as the tactical instructions you are allowed 2 extra lines of a team talk to motivate your players, show your worth not just for tactics but how you build players up for the game!
Cash
Each week you receive 2m for a win, 1m for a draw, zilch for a loss.
You also receive an extra £2m per week for ensuring your tactics are handed in on time and you've voted on the results.
Each week there shall be a £1m cash bonus to the team voted best tactics.
Hopefully this is enough to entice to sign up! If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to ask and I look forward to seeing your team sheets!

You've done well with your small squad. The PL is shaping up to be brilliant. Might be loads of draws though, we'll see.

The difference is Hero, in all of these games you've been near or at the top, whereas Twist (who hopefully wont mind me saying) hasn't been at the top and he's built a team that is top of the league with one game to go.

I'm still not rated as a manager by Viva though
Twist has done fantastic tbf and I fully expect him to wrap up the league this week.

You all know deep down that you need the Viva stamp of approval to be certified as a great manager, don't worry Hero one day you'll reach that level.

And how do you earn said stamp?

I agree with that. I have a good starting 11 but will really struggle with injuries. Had to really think what team I was putting out with Vidal and Strootman injured this week.
I need to bulk up. Hence why I won't be buying a star player, but hopefully cheap knock offs as people rush to get cash. I am looking for euro unknown's that may well see their value sky rocket at the Euro's
I fully expect Strootman to have a huge impact for Holland. And I think Sahko will be great for France alongside Rami

Olly:
International experience:
Wes Hoolahan
Played 20 minutes coming on as a substitute in a friendly game, which was four years ago.
Paul Green
Played ten games in the past two years, generally in or around the Irish team and in most of the squads.
Paul Green also quit Derby, rejecting a contract offer, he wasn't released and played most of their games this season until he decided to reject the offer. He is one of their best players and will undoubtedly get another offer in the Championship as he is a classy player.

Zokora kicks racism in the nuts!
Just noticed Blackburn's terrible record of 1 win and 7 defeats in their last 8 Premier League games. Olly, for one bonus point, who was the side who lost 2-0 to give Blackburn that one win in eight?

Crazy that David Haye v Dereck Chisora is going ahead, at Upton Park, in July 14th, in a fight only sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation.
Two British fighters, in a fight the British Boxing Board of Control don't want to happen, taking place in Britain under a technicality that the Luxembourg Boxing Federation can, like all European Boxing Boards, stage a fight anywhere in Europe.
I may be going but it is just days ahead of the due date of my son being born!

Strange one isn't it? Can bet the BBBC is losing out on some money by not sanctioning, but I'm glad it'll go ahead. Be a good fight I reckon.

Me too but they slowly grinded Newcastle and eventually got them to be honest I couldn't see anything but a City win if United were in that position I would have expected them to beat Newcastle I can only hope that QPR can get something but realistically they going to lose.
West Ham did really well I thought it was going to be much closer, who do you prefer in the final? You battered Blackpool twice in the league by 4 goals so you might have the edge over them, drew twice with Birmingham?
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XI
Yeah drew with them both games but should have won them both too, but for some shoddy defending. I am on the fence at the moment because even though we gave Blackpool a thrashing twice I'm always wary of their spirit especially in a play off final.
Birmingham I think are overrated and I've heard so many people say we should avoid them but I think we have the beating of them. They rely on the counter and on Burke and I think we have more weapons to get at them.
Whichever way it goes, I'm going to be extremely nervous watching it...

So who's planning their buys for the summer? Anyone brave enough to tell us all who they're going for...?
I have at least one player in mind, I should hope he's rated on here because he is rather pricey.

Remember you can nominate players to sell to lawyers in the summer to raise some cash
I'm after a versatile midfielder and possibly another forward. Possibly a defender, but for the moment I'm happy enough there
Who likes Salomon Rondon?

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XI
I like Sandro think he is a good player should get more game time, then again he is up against the overated Scott Parker. As a DM he has much more discipline then Parker which you need when you play a proper DM. He can pass the ball decent maybe he don't fly in like Parker or get his shorts dirtry or wear that gayish tight skin vest top thingy that shows half your torso.
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XI
Sandro has been getting a lot more game time of late and the plaudits for it too.
