We had our leaving ceremony then a boat trip on the Thames. Everyone was smart for the day and smart casual for the evening, apart from 5 of us, who stayed in our suits for the 4 hour gap, playing WWF Smackdown on the original Playstation, drinking nasty stubby bottles of French lager, and never did get changed...

Morning one and all.
Chester Races I came back with the grand total winnings of zilch.
Though my mind is now permantely scarred by the image of perma tanned troglodytes not knowing how to cross their legs whilst wearing belt like dresses.
I've seen less Brazilians in Cherry's team.

Yes I did meet the Rooneys!

Though not Wayne or Colleen, but his brother John, his dad, and several other family members.
Also saw Michael Owen.

But the most impressive celeb that I bumped into was...

STATTO!

Votes sent.

James Rodriguez is now an AC ALSOAM player, it's officially official now as my votes are sent, bonus received, and the money is paid in full to Russell.

Took a chance and made an offer seeing as Russell signed De Bruyne off of Treble.

OK Hero.

I think every manager does it, I do, but some managers do it with a player who cant do it in real life: So Question:
Why is it so many people think Wingers can play inside the field/cut inside and play like a CM/AM?
The modern day of football wingers cut inside more often, do people here think evey winger can come inside and play well???

Viva, its actually not that bad. I saw a "leaked" version of the shirt which was horrid. The one they are reportedly releasing looks better. OK its not great but if you see it from a distance it just looks plain Red.

I think it very much depends on the winger, ones like Lennon, Johnson just stick their head down and run around the outside, some do the opposite and always try and come inside, for me the best wingers are those that you can never tell if they are going in or out so constantly beat the fullback as they cannot second guess them. So generally in tactics I ask my wingers to vary their game.

I think it depends on your wingers. I have Shaqiri and Muniain: Muniain is more an out and out winger who sprints with the ball and crosses it or runs straight into the box and shoots. I think Shaqiri would be more likely to be able to play inside.

Completely agree, it depends on the winger. It's the same with playing an AM on the wing, like Sneijder or Iniesta. Some players can, some can't.

The wingers I generally use are guys that also play striker as a secondary position so I assume they are well versed at getting inside and getting shots away

Id say:
Walcott is a prime example of a winger who can come inside and not link up, ineffective inside the pitch.
Then you have your Nani, Ben Afra type. Can come inside but only to pass it or shoot.
Then theres Bale, Valencia type. Can come inside, link up play from mid to att, mid to overlapping fullback, able to pass the ball on and make a forward run through the middle.

I'd say with a bit more work, Ben Arfa could be a Valencia-type winger.

Anyway, is there an official Ingerland song for the Euros yet?

There'll probably be a couple of un-official ones. Capello didn't want one for the last world cup as he saw the song as a distaction, so chances are he didn't want one for the euros. However with Roy coming in one might happen.
