In international rugby there is always encouragement to blood in young players but come big games and world cups it is invariably the older more experienced players that get the nod.
So if you were to pick an over 25 team(not old but certainly more experienced) and an under 25 team for your country who would win, for Scotland I'd pick:
U25

15. Hogg
14. Jones
13. Dunbar
12. Scott
11. Brown
10. Weir
9. Pyrgos
8. Denton
7. Fusaro
6. Harley
5. Gilchrist
4. Gray
3. Welsh
2. MacArthur
1. Shiells

Over 25

15. Rory Lamont
14. Sean Lamont
13. Joe Ansbro
12. Morrison
11. Evans
10. Laidlaw
9. Blair
8. Beattie
7. Rennie/ Barclay (both very good on their day and play very differently)
6. Brown
5. Hamilton
4. Kellock
3. Murray
2. Ford
1. Jacobsen

I'm convinced that the younger ones would win although I'm not sure if that's because Scotland's last lot were poor and the only person who thought otherwise was our apparent Lord and master when it comes to Scottish rugby, Andy Robinson, but anyway if an over 25 team and an under 25 team from your country played who would play and who would win?

Over 25's to easily beat the Under 25's. I may have forgot some players for the under 25's and moved one or two out of position if anyone has any suggestions?

England Old (based on Stuart Lancaster's preferences where possible - ie in his EPS/Saxons Squads)

Ben Foden 26
Dave Strettle 28
James simpson Daniel 29
Matt Hopper 27
Ugo Monye 29
Toby flood 26
Lee Dickson 27
Phil Dowson 30
Chris Robshaw 26 (before First test in SA)
Tom Croft 26
Mouritz Botha 30
Geoff Parling 28
Matt Stevens 29
Dylan Hartley 26
Andrew Sheridan 32

England Young (As above)

Alex Goode 23
Chris Ashton 25
Manu Tuilagi 20
Brad Barritt 25
Charlie Sharples 22
Owen Farrell 20
Ben Youngs 22
Ben morgan 23
Tom Wood 25
Calum Clark 22
Courtney Lawes 23
Dave Attwood 25
Dan Cole 24
Rob Webber 25
Alix corbisiero 23

It was tricky building the 26 and over backs as so many players seemed to be born in the latter half of 1986. I reckon it would be close.
