Jan only works if you have a very defensive CB behnd him because he loves to get forward.

Not really, far better defenders out there than Mexes, he's living off form from about 2 years ago and those that played FM in 2008.

Just like Albiol and Luiz?

Re: Fantasy European League Season 2 Homepage™
Albiol was good, joined Real and bombed considerably. Luiz is getting better IMO. Still needs a leader alongside him though.

Re: Fantasy European League Season 2 Homepage™
Luiz has been greatly improved of late, I freely admit that earlier in the season he looked a liability and agreed with RedNevs view that he played like a 10 year old on his PS3, since RDM took over though he's been a revelation, a rock in the Final.

Hero really?
I don't think it is called good defending if the opposition striker had numerous attempts to finish with ease.
Luiz is a good player but to be honest, he hasnt proved much has he?

Which pair would you rather have, Pedro + Pique or Ribery + Luiz?

Re: Fantasy European League Season 2 Homepage™
I would certainly rather Pedro and Pique, Luiz may have improved but as Kamran said, he was by no means a rock in the CL final and Gomez could have easily scored two or three. Pedro is also younger than Ribery and although he's got barely any playing time these days with Sanchez at the club, he'll turn it on next season.

Re: Fantasy European League Season 2 Homepage™
Pique's had a bad season. He was dropped towards the end of the season, which must say something about him when you think about Barca's defensive options.

Re: Fantasy European League Season 2 Homepage™
He's not had a bad season, I just think he was dropped because he's got too big for his boots and got complacent.

Don't pick a Spanish striker. There's no way of knowing. I'm saying Llorente because he offers height and power which Soldado doesn't have.

Re: Fantasy European League Season 2 Homepage™
Yeah I wouldn't pick a Spanish striker either. More likely the goals will come from the wingers/midfielders anyway with no Villa.

Cheers TSC - I want to pick one because the rest of the options are too expensive
My other options are Ibra or Carroll (yes I know)

Go for Lewandowski if you need a cheap striker.

Best wait until all the squads have been confirmed (29th) so you don't pick anyone who isn't going.

Pleeeeeeease Release him, let him go.
For he don't love you anymore.
To waste his life would be a sin.
Release him and let him play again.

Where will Hazard end up then?
City, Chelsea or United
Its just like Sophie's Choice!

Re: Fantasy European League Season 2 Homepage™
I'm struggling to see why he would choose United as I don't see where he fits into the system that you play. Having said that if we sign Hulk then we won't sign Hazard as well.
City it is then
