This is the same owner who let Martin O'Neill leave as O'Neill wanted investment in the squad and he wouldn't give it to him? The same owner who sold Downing and Young for around £35 million this season and only bought in N'Zogbia for £9 million? I know they signed Bent for £24 million but they are a club with serious debt at the moment

Olly you find that funny? Sorry but that's below the belt and it's pretty sick making a "joke" like that. Of course SAF has been disrespectful but he has never gone to that extreme.

Fernando if you believe everything Sir Alex says well then I pity you and not once did he say over my dead body regarding City winning the title it was to do with under dog. Carlos Tevez does not have the brain cells to come up with that.

On 5 live their reporter on the bus said that it was thrown on the bus by a fan and Tevez just picked it up and held it up. Then they realised what it said and chucked it away. That is what I know about it at the moment.

I know he will move on Tooze but he would be silly to move to Villa in my opinion. Anyway the same thing happened last season when Burnley wanted him and we just plain rejected there approach. I'd expect McNally to do the same this time around

Tooze let it pan out, I am confident he will be with us next season. The longer it goes on the better I feel. I get the sense that if he wanted to leave our board would want it to be sorted out quickly so we could appoint a new manager who could make his own signings.

It certainly can. But Villa have a dire squad at the moment. A lot of players are past their best. Norwich's squad is better than Villa's at the moment. I think if Lambert stayed and kept us up for one more year he could get a bigger job than the Villa job, for example Everton or Spurs. You said it earlier that a move to Villa for him at the moment is a step sideways!

I did and I stick by that but it's hard to reject when you get an offer now, it's not guaranteed that he will get Spurs or Everton we don't know what will happen in a few years. I think if he stays he can become a top manager and I can see him managing a top European side one day.

Hope for your sake he stays.

Thank you thumbsup

I think if he stays with us he will only further enhance his reputation and go on to manage a big side. He did all his coaching badges in Germany when he won the Champions League with Dortmund so I could see him managing over there one day. I would also have outside bet on him being Man Utd manager one day.

This is what our board has stopped happening. When Celtic made an enquiry for him, they rejected it. Same with Burnley. I expect the same will happen with Villa, which is what McNally (our chief exec) has said.

And it's the 4-4 with Everton which killed our title. The Wigan and City games were fair enough, we deserved to lose both. Everton game we should have won.

You didn't deserve to win that game at all. You defence couldn't handle Pienaar, Fellaini and Jelavic and were being pulled all over the place.

You couldn't cope and deserved to concede 4 goals, possibly even more.

Morning

Me thinks Tevez is still bitter towards SAF for shunting him out.
I also think Tevez lacks the brain cells to understand RIP. He probably took it literally as rip in the term of ripping into someone. Or hes just a _______ moron. He still shouldnt be holding that up. Its their day to celebrate and hes obviousl;y still thinking of SAF & Man United.
Either way I wish him nothign good for the rest of career and hope bad things happen to him.

On another note, Sir Bobby Charlton #Legend #MUFC Great words last night from a great man. True Red and a True Gentleman!
"We have an unbelievable club. This club is, without question, the best in the world. I am ever so proud."
"We've got nothing to worry about - city don't concern me at all"

Tevez will never have a bad word said against him by me

However, I'm not sure he understands the meaning of the sign. Firstly, he doesn't strike me as the sharpest tool in the shed, and secondly, doesn't he still know barely any English? Laugh

Nick - what do you make of the gossip about United being in for Kagawa.

He has been excellent for Dortmund over the last two seasons, arguably their most important player. At the moment, I would rate him higher than Gotze, even though Gotze gets more media coverage.

The coach has come out and said that Kagawa will be leaving as the Bundesliga doesn't mean anything in Japan and implied that England is the most likely destination.

Be a great signing IMO and a far cheaper version of Snjeider, plus the added commercial benefits of having a Japanese star.

Or anyone else's opinions of it for that matter?

Nick - what do you make of the gossip about United being in for Kagawa.
Happy. I would love him at Man United. He has tekkers, good pass and great linkup play.
Someone here yesterday said hes selfish, psssh they really do not know what their talking about. Double figures in goals & assists this season doesnt indicate a selfish player to me. Having watch only watched bits of him on the bundesliga highlight show the way he links up play, Oooooo him with Young and Valencia on the wings would be great.
Yeah I seen coach say that, its on goal.com this morning.

Would it be slightly racist to suggest Park Ji-Sung would welcome Kagawa as a fellow Asian?

Agreed completely. Dortmund's most important player IMO.

Who has him on here as his rating will go through the roof on here once he is in the Premier League.

And Marky - maybe a little, but you might get away with it.

More from last nights player of the year awards

Ruddy -
'If someone would have told me last season that this season would have ended like it has I wouldn't have believed them.'

Drury - '
We've done much more than everyone expected of us and I've thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it

McNally -
'When Paul Lambert joined Norwich City we were the 66th ranked team in England, now we are 12th.'
'This group of players, Paul Lambert, and his back room team have produced one of the most remarkable success stories in football'
One day we'll look back and say Delia, Michael, and Michael Foulger are the best owners the club's ever had'

Holt:
'I'll get the same speech out as last year shall I?! Do I get to keep the trophy now
'Favourite goal was the one against Blackburn, 92nd minute to grab a point.'

The City squad have picked their Players' Player of the Season... Congratulations John Ruddy!

Paul Lambert the last to take to the stage for the evening. The room rises once again.

Lambert -
'I've got nothing but praise for everyone at the football Club. It's been an unbelievable rise and an incredible season.'
to Kyle Naughton - 'For a loan player you have been unbelievable this season. But what are those shoes you've got on?!'
jokes with Adam Drury - 'You're dropped for the testimonial, I've booked you a seat next to Delia and Michael!'
to Ryan Bennett, Howson and Ruddy's tables -'You must be on the edge of your seats... They're so boring!'
finishes with tribute to team and fans-'They've been amazing a big thank you to all of them. We'll do everything we can to kick on.'

Sainty inherited him from Nay Bother's side, so Kagawa is alongside Gaitan and Di Maria in the Borussia Munchingballsack side.

If I were Sainty, i'd play the front four as;

Di Maria - Kagawa - Gaitan
Llorente

He's with Munchingballsack at the moment.

I notice Hazard isn't in the league yet. That will change I'm sure....
