I'm happy to run with what TSC stated yesterday then.

-------------------

That was the final word, going with what TSC said initially, which was that the limit is frozen until week 1, season 2.

Right so the TP limit is going up to £21.5m on week 1 season 2 correct?

Right well that is cleared up then thumbsup

For the star player thing is it like the initial draft where we PM our player and bid to Hero, or is it done on the TP thread on a first come first serve basis?

PM our Star Player and bid to Hero, everyone gets one bid, then when results are announced, those who didn't get their Star Player (ie were outbid) then get a chance to bid on a new Star Player.

Remember the Ozil fiasco the other year...that was so funny

Last I heard Ozil is still at Manchester airport waiting to be picked up, he is a United player I'm 100% sure, wait till August and you'll see him in the new kit.

Tranquille Barnetta has been in the Jesmond Dene Hotel since August last year. God knows what sort of state he's in or how he's managed the commute back to Leverkusen all this time.

So at 1pm tomorrow the England Squad is announced. I shall be disappointed if Holt isn't given a chance, but I can understand why. Ruddy should be a shoe in in my opinion.

Also people talking about Crouch's proven goalscoring record at international level look at the teams he has scored against.

1 vs Uruguay in 2006
1 vs Hungary in 2006
3 vs Jamaica in 2006
1 vs Trinidad and Tobago in 2006
2 vs Greece in 2006
2 vs Andorra in 2006
1 vs Macedonia in 2006
1 vs Estonia in 2007
1 vs Austria in 2007
1 vs Croatia in 2007
1 vs Ukraine in 2009
1 vs Andorra in 2009
2 vs Belarus in 2009
2 vs Egypt in 2009
1 vs Mexico in 2010
1 vs France in 2010

Now for me he has scored against some teams I'm pretty sure I could score against in there! I mean even David Nugent scored against Andorra Laugh

I'm hearing worrying news that the strikeforce will be Rooney, Welbeck, Carroll and Zamora!

Please don't let Carroll and Zamora be true. They have been awful for most of the season. Holt and Crouch have scored over double what they have. If that is true that is complete BS

Seems Rio Ferdinand and Kyle Walker are out, so that brings in Glen Johnson and Phil Jagielka IMO.

Four strikers should be Rooney, Welbeck, Sturridge and Holt/Carroll.

As long as the reports suggesting Terry will be left out because of Rio are untrue or now that Rio is a major doubt. Itd be a mistake to leave Terry behind.

Hodgson should just give them handbags and let them fight it out :P

PM our Star Player and bid to Hero, everyone gets one bid, then when results are announced, those who didn't get their Star Player (ie were outbid) then get a chance to bid on a new Star Player.
Can we do this now then?

Morning

I agree with him it is a waste of a money.

I am so furious that Ferdinand has not made the team, it's obvious that it's because of Terry what a joke already a man sausage up before we've kicked a ball frictions and little cliques in the squad will be formed. How will the black England players get on with Terry? Made it even harder for us. Rio is still the best English defender watch the donkeys at the back just hoof it every single time and we lose possesion again and again.

Rio is the best England defender on the ball. It's a shame you aren't taking him becauseas Viva said, everyone else hoofs it. Cahill and Jags for CB!!

I agree too, it is a waste.

How will the black England players get on with Terry?
Fine as his Trial is after the Euros.
Terry may have more influence than Rio, so Hodgeson need to keep him if so. Also terry likes to be manager and Hodgson flopped hard with Loserpool, he needs an assistant.

Rio is still the best English defender watch the donkeys at the back just hoof it every single time and we lose possesion again and again.

The other side of the coin is, Hodgson is alleged to have met with Ferguson, and Ferguson has said Ferdinand wouldn't be able to cope with playing through Euro 2012. It's likely Ferguson has helped make Hodgson's decision for him.

Nick I disagree Terry should have had the Court Case before the Euros theres going to be a doubt in the players head and maybe they won't say nothing but I can see cracks in the squad and little gangs just like the World Cup 2010.

What do you expect from Ferguson if it was up to him he would have no United players going to the Euros because it won't benefit United. He tries to stop our players going when they are fit. Rio may not be able to play all games but I would rather have him on the bench then Cahill, Jagielka and I know who I rather have defending against the best strikers. Rooney is missing two games but he is still going.

Question of the day for everyone...

Which player will suddenly emerge from the Euros as the next big thing?

Here's a question:

Over has Man Utd career, has Rio Ferdinand justified his £30m price tag?
