Toni Kroos is the obvious answer, but i'd love John Guidetti to get a few for Sweden in the group stage and raise his profile a bit.

Or if the rumours he's going are true, I wouldn't be surprised to hear Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Gotze across Europe. He'd need to have a blinder, but he's probably capable of it.

Agree but with the CPS, Footballers etc these things take time.

I think M'vila will shine in the Euros. New look France look good. 11/1 I may back them e/w with Benzema as top GS at 16/1.

I wouldn't actually pick Oxlade-Chamberlain, I don't think he's earned his place ahead of the likes of Young, Lennon and Adam Johnson, but if he does go he would be a very dangerous supersub.

My predicted squad has changed quite a bit.

GK's Hart, Carson, Ruddy

DF's P.Jones, G.Johnson, A.Cole, Baines, Terry, Cahill, Jagielka, Lescott

MF's Parker, Barry, Milner, Gerrard, Lampard, Young, Lennon, Oxlade-Chamberlain

FW's Rooney, Carroll, Welbeck, Defoe

Walcott gets a lot of unfair critisim he has the tag of being crap and all the expectations from when he was younger but he is still ahead of Lennon and Oxo.

French defender, made the provisional squad and rumoured to be joining a PL side this summer (like half of Europe is admittedly).

I bought him for my old Birmingham side back in my first venture into these pretend manager games along with the Brazilian Dede, must have been lucky punts though as my knowledge on players isn't up to much Whistle

Well Fan knows loads doesn't he? Laugh

"Can you really put your faith in a young (ish, for his position) goalkeeper who has never even earned an international call-up? Imagine the worst case scenario - Joe Hart gets injured, Robert Green gets injured... England’s No.1 v France: the uncapped John Ruddy. Gulp. Scott Carson, despite having a nightmare against Croatia many moons ago, would surely be a better option?"

That epitomises everything wrong with the England national team and it's "fans". You (no one in particular here I may add) birch and you moan about never winning and then when the opportunity comes to being along a new face you then complain about lack of experience. How are they meant to get experience if they aren't taken anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Sign him Nick. You've got the money, he's only £6M or so, if he has a good Euro 2012 it's a good signing, if he moves to the Premier League in the summer it's a win and if he moves to Man U it's a double win for you!

Trying to force players to stay by saying we wont sell you and we will force you to see out your contract is as disgusting as Carlos Tevez' face!!!
They tryed it on Cesc, and Nasri. Now RVP. Man 28 coming 29, he wants a trpohy he needs to leave.

Sorry Nick, it was an impulse buy. I brought Sakho for the reason that I though he was odds on to partner Rami for France at the Euro's and now he isn't even going.

Yeah I do, but I might wait. I think Strootman will have a good Euro's for Holland, so I am going to wait. My prime concern is a CF at the moment.

Nick it would be silly of you to buy him this time tomorrow everyone will forget about him, why didn't anyone put a bid in for him earlier? It's all hype over the Euros good player but I wouldn't take the risk when some people may not have seen him play much.

I'm after a winger, centre midfielder and a striker.

Matudi, Menez and Valbuena in the provisionalsquad Very Happy

Anyone know if Papadopoulos's injury will keep him out of the Euros as Group A is wide open so I expect he could have a good campaign.
