- Spoiler:
- Tactics & Voting
Tactics and voting are to be in promptly on the dates required.
If these deadlines are not met then the following happens:
1. The offending party receives a -1 goal to their score immediately.
2. If after 24 hours they have failed to still hand in tactics/votes then they receive a default loss for that week.
3. If this happens on a regular basis the manager shall be removed from their position.
If there is a valid reason as to why you cannot provide tactics or votes on time then this must be informed to the league runner as soon as possible.
Media Page
Each week 5 questions are provided by reporters, everyone has the opportunity to answer these for a 1m boost to kitty.
Manager of the Month
Every month there is a poll put up for manager of the month (the previous month's winner is excluded), the winner gets to use a magic sponge on a player that is injured at any point the following month to recover that player for that week.
League Breakdown and Rules
- Spoiler:
- Welcome to the 606v2 Euro Division
Where this will be different to the existing leagues is that the sides involved are entirely made up.
You don't inherit a pre-made European side.
Instead you make your own.
You would initially start with £150m with which to buy a MINIMUM of 15 players and a MAXIMUM of 23 players.
The prices for these players are determined entirely through the transfermarkt website.
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/
But here's where it gets interesting...the prices that are used on transfermarkt are the minimum you can bid, because other people in the league may also want the same person, so do you risk bidding the flat fee or do you bid more (increased bids have to be a minimum £500k more), the other point of note at this stage is that the maximum value player you can bid on is £15m (though you can choose to bid more than the £15m to get the player)
You then get an ADDITIONAL £50m with which to purchase upto 2 STAR players (min 1), though the maximum you can spend on 1 player is £35m.
This will then result in you having a team of a minimum of 16 players and maximum of 25 players.
You then have to name the team, give it a location where they play their home games and send this via PM to myself and Sodhat before the cut off point (to be decided).
Results of who got which player will then be announced and for those that lost out on players due to being outbid, a second chance is available to acquire players before the league starts, and third etc if needed.
Number of leagues is dependent upon how many players participate.
Foreign transfers.
As the only deciding factor for selling a player is cash then there shouldn't be wrangles over if a TP is accepted or not, if you have the cash you can buy!
TPs though will only go through once a week on a Sunday night for the week ahead.
Max transfer value for bringing in a player from foreign transfers is £15m in Season 1.
You can only make 2 foreign transfers per week.
Domestic transfers
Players can move only twice between domestic clubs per season, once they have moved twice you will have to wait until the following season to sell to another domestic club.
They can though be released or sold to an outside club.
For anyone that joins the league after it begins then the following rule applies for the first two weeks:
Transfers between 2 domestic clubs must be within 20% of each other in total monetary value. So for example if Team A wish to buy a player from Team B worth £10m then they must offer between £8-£12m in player/cash value.
Note that once 2 weeks have passed then the manager is allowed to but and sell as they please but this rule is in place to combat the usual bombardment of silly offers that litter the new managers page.
Injuries
Injuries shall be announced once per week on a Sunday night, they shall consist of 2 players, one based from the team picked for the previous weeks game and one from the entire squad.
Tactics
Each week you shall play 1 game, either league or cup (no more than one game per week though), tactics for this game shall consist of a team sheet, injuries for your team, if your team is home or away and a maximum of 15 bullet point lines worth of team instructions.
As well as the tactical instructions you are allowed 2 extra lines of a team talk to motivate your players, show your worth not just for tactics but how you build players up for the game!
Cash
Each week you receive 2m for a win, 1m for a draw, zilch for a loss.
You also receive an extra £2m per week for ensuring your tactics are handed in on time and you've voted on the results.
Each week there shall be a £1m cash bonus to the team voted best tactics.
Hopefully this is enough to entice to sign up! If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to ask and I look forward to seeing your team sheets!

I've told you all already, John Guidetti.
(Cue him not making the Swedish squad now to make me look silly )
But Guidetti scored regularly for Feyennord last season, is already in the Prem (has stated he wants to fight for his place at Man City next season) and a good Euro 2012 would really boost his rating.

Well, not as if I am buying him via TP...I already have him. Even the best players could have a mare at the Euro's and there rating on here will go through the floor.
If Andy Carroll gets selected and then scores loads at the Euro, he would instantly be rated. On the other hand, I am not so sure Dempsey can repeat the season he has had next season, so I might flog him. He won me the title...now I will move on

Rumours that Danny Murphy is in the England squad

Dempsey, depends. If he stays with Fulham he could have just as good season. If he moves....say Arsenal I dont think he will. Look at Arteta, standard season from him, nothing good nothgin bad. At Everton he was the Big Boss

This being the case, I am not going to spend stupid money on a star player before the Euros. I think it is madness. I made a gamble with Yanga-Mbiwa yeah, but that was just 6.6m and I can always recoup the money back.

Yes hes been good but nothing like past form. Hes just become an average good player, nothing special to him. That may be because he isnt the main man anymore but if hes that good he should step up to the plate. In the Cl he looked off the pace.Arteta has been good at Arsenal.

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage XII
In the Premier league this season, Arteta has completed a mammoth 1,792 passes- a tally only bettered by Yaya Toure. Considering the fact that he has a 90.5% accuracy with these passes, you could be forgiven for thinking that they were simple without much potency, which couldn’t be any further from the truth.
In the 25 games Arteta has played this season, he has created 54 chances at a rate of 2.2 per game- the second best in the Arsenal squad (behind van Persie with 2.4). More impressively, out of the top 10 passers in Europe, only Andrea Pirlo (3) and Xavi (2.4) have made more key passes per game than Mikel Arteta.

Don't forget that he made the most passes in the opposition half and it took till the last game of the season for Arsenil to win without him.
I think we have to disagree Nick, Arteta for the last two years at Everton was below average a bit crap injury played some part but at Arsenal he has improved a lot compared to his final few years at Everton. He has dropped deep allowing Song to push up controlled the tempo of the game.

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage XII
Arteta would be 1st on my list to play alongside Khedira and Vidal.
That said, you would need the right players to be alongisde him. You would need a good attacking midfielder and a CDM. Or just thinking about it...two box-to-boxers
Maybe, off the top of my head, a team with Vidal, Arteta and Eriksen in midfield.

And the season before he left Everton, he was pretty poor. Most Everton supporters were prepared to lose Arteta, if it meant keeping Fellaini, Baines and Jags.

Vidal is more then capable of going up the pitch and scoring goals and assiting, Leverkusens top goal scorer I think last season. I think people underate Artetas defensive qualities a lot of times he has dropped allowing Song to push up.

Also on Sky Sports itself they have Arteta with the best passrate percentage:

The team that will play...not that I want to see though...against France will be:

Walcot---------Gerrard----Parker-----------Young

Big man, fast man up top. We won't make it out the group

So good passing ability. Great, hes always head that. I still stand by my stantment that hes good player. Not great and not bad.

Some guy on twitter: “Mr. Hodgson is trying to amend his relationship with Liverpool. So many Liverpool players even tho they played so bad in the league!”
