No raining on this parade
Greater Manchester police were heard to express clearly audible sighs of relief that the open top bus parade for the title winning team would merely be a 1.8 mile route from Albert Square finishing in Coronation Street.
If the other lot had won it would apparently have needed to detour through much of North and South London and doubtless interfered with large swathes of the Olympic torch relay route before finally showing up somewhere west of Machester to ensure their minority of local fans didn't feel too left out.

Thats right. You see Utd are an international club, with supporters from all backgrounds and lands. What can you do?

Scholes and Giggs are too old now, then there's Rio and Vidic who can't play for much longer = left with Ashley Young, Carrick, Cleverley, Smalling and Jones.
Rooney is the only reason ManU kept it close.

Not quite. Scholes is why Utd even had a chance. His return was the turning point of the season for Utd. People really don't need to be too concerned about Utd. We'll manage just fine.

United need to reinforce the middle of the park greatly.

Agreed, I don't think we would have taken it to the last game had scholes not returned, hence why people want him at the euros for England as well, even at 37 still one of the best
Just proves how difficult it will be To replace him when he does call it a day
