Ravel Morrison to be released by West Ham?

Has anyone seen this doing the rounds on twitter? Looking like a waste of talent if it's true.

I have seen the story now. No idea whether there's anything in it.

Quite likely it might be true - or it could be someone practising the dark arts of spin doctoring to distract W Ham in advance of the play off final.

More than a grain of truth in that - sadly!

Think there's only so much the clubs can do these days. They give them the support they need and pay them a wage even as a sub people would kill for, yet most don't have a brain cell of rationality or sense in them these days. Complete idiot.

If there was ever a manager that could have kept Morrison in check it would have been SAF, the fact that he was happy to let him go when he is reportedly a potentially world class talent speaks volumes.

I'd hope this is the wake up call.

Can't remember reading anything positive about the kid. I'd have thought every youngster on the fringes of the Man Utd squad would have had some degree of potential. Another hype job gone wrong.

And what a silly name. Who calls their child Ravel? I blame the parents..!

Remember reading he'd gotten in to the gang culture in Manchester and that was a big part of why SAF let him go, so he moved to London were the gang culture is even bigger

A useful life lesson in why not to be a c**t! He was meant to be huge, the next Gazza based on raw talent, and at the best club in England to do it in with the best possible manager for a slightly rough diamond but he threw it all away for the sake of a massive attitude problem.

Sounds like a rumour, but there must be something wrong with him, he has played 5 mins first team football. Ive heard that he has fallen out with a few big players like Nolan.

Hopefully no club offers him a contract again, clearly he doesn't have any independent qualities and does whatever his mates do/tell him to do!
