- Spoiler:
- Tactics & Voting
Tactics and voting are to be in promptly on the dates required.
If these deadlines are not met then the following happens:
1. The offending party receives a -1 goal to their score immediately.
2. If after 24 hours they have failed to still hand in tactics/votes then they receive a default loss for that week.
3. If this happens on a regular basis the manager shall be removed from their position.
If there is a valid reason as to why you cannot provide tactics or votes on time then this must be informed to the league runner as soon as possible.
Media Page
Each week 5 questions are provided by reporters, everyone has the opportunity to answer these for a 1m boost to kitty.
Manager of the Month
Every month there is a poll put up for manager of the month (the previous month's winner is excluded), the winner gets to use a magic sponge on a player that is injured at any point the following month to recover that player for that week.
League Breakdown and Rules
- Spoiler:
- Welcome to the 606v2 Euro Division
Where this will be different to the existing leagues is that the sides involved are entirely made up.
You don't inherit a pre-made European side.
Instead you make your own.
You would initially start with £150m with which to buy a MINIMUM of 15 players and a MAXIMUM of 23 players.
The prices for these players are determined entirely through the transfermarkt website.
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/
But here's where it gets interesting...the prices that are used on transfermarkt are the minimum you can bid, because other people in the league may also want the same person, so do you risk bidding the flat fee or do you bid more (increased bids have to be a minimum £500k more), the other point of note at this stage is that the maximum value player you can bid on is £15m (though you can choose to bid more than the £15m to get the player)
You then get an ADDITIONAL £50m with which to purchase upto 2 STAR players (min 1), though the maximum you can spend on 1 player is £35m.
This will then result in you having a team of a minimum of 16 players and maximum of 25 players.
You then have to name the team, give it a location where they play their home games and send this via PM to myself and Sodhat before the cut off point (to be decided).
Results of who got which player will then be announced and for those that lost out on players due to being outbid, a second chance is available to acquire players before the league starts, and third etc if needed.
Number of leagues is dependent upon how many players participate.
Foreign transfers.
As the only deciding factor for selling a player is cash then there shouldn't be wrangles over if a TP is accepted or not, if you have the cash you can buy!
TPs though will only go through once a week on a Sunday night for the week ahead.
Max transfer value for bringing in a player from foreign transfers is £15m in Season 1.
You can only make 2 foreign transfers per week.
Domestic transfers
Players can move only twice between domestic clubs per season, once they have moved twice you will have to wait until the following season to sell to another domestic club.
They can though be released or sold to an outside club.
For anyone that joins the league after it begins then the following rule applies for the first two weeks:
Transfers between 2 domestic clubs must be within 20% of each other in total monetary value. So for example if Team A wish to buy a player from Team B worth £10m then they must offer between £8-£12m in player/cash value.
Note that once 2 weeks have passed then the manager is allowed to but and sell as they please but this rule is in place to combat the usual bombardment of silly offers that litter the new managers page.
Injuries
Injuries shall be announced once per week on a Sunday night, they shall consist of 2 players, one based from the team picked for the previous weeks game and one from the entire squad.
Tactics
Each week you shall play 1 game, either league or cup (no more than one game per week though), tactics for this game shall consist of a team sheet, injuries for your team, if your team is home or away and a maximum of 15 bullet point lines worth of team instructions.
As well as the tactical instructions you are allowed 2 extra lines of a team talk to motivate your players, show your worth not just for tactics but how you build players up for the game!
Cash
Each week you receive 2m for a win, 1m for a draw, zilch for a loss.
You also receive an extra £2m per week for ensuring your tactics are handed in on time and you've voted on the results.
Each week there shall be a £1m cash bonus to the team voted best tactics.
Hopefully this is enough to entice to sign up! If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to ask and I look forward to seeing your team sheets!

Well, from what I can gather from what is written, they hate you. Plain and simple.
I don't know to be honest, it may be that they saw you outnumbered at the back or that Gotze/Cisse/Cazorla/Kroos were too much to handle? There's no accounting for taste I'm afraid.

That is true. But some reasons are more justified than other. You can tell those who read tactics and those who looked at the team sheet.
Everyone's reasoning is good to them though, it's just how they saw it.
I remember once in the Furious League I played a new formation in a big game and I got battered. The collective reason was it was the wrong time to play a new formation. Yet its done here in a cup final and it gets a 5-0 win off one voter, hardley no one has bat an eye lid at it.
Just proves the more your liked, dont argue with people, dont question peopel and things, sit on the fence (or high horse) the more people will vote for you to win.
Rant done.

Thats classic. Heros plays one CB and 2 fullbacks yet there not overwhelmed.outnumbered at the back or that Gotze/Cisse/Cazorla/Kroos were too much to handle?
It just gets better, Cole and Abate bombing forward left just ONE CB in defence yet he manages fine.I voted 5-0 against you Cherries and I won't aplogise I just felt that the wingers were too good and with Cole and Abate bombing up you just got mashed like mash.

Same could easily be said though for the 4-0 Nick, it's a person's interpretation of both set of tactics, this person clearly felt gaps would be exposed for Neymar whilst others didn't. Even the slackest tactics the league has seen don't get a 4-0 loss but somehow in the final this happens?
Changing the formation? Sodhat does that every week, he won the league.
Like any set of tactics were the defender says Defender A will be mark the striker whilst the other person states the striker will be targetting Defender B, who ends up marking the defender?
Just because you fail to agree with them doesn't mean you're right.

This is like the murder case of Tupac.
Some people (me) claiming that I voted against you (Biggie claiming he shot Tupac in the song Who Shot Ya) then you got other people indirectly claaiming they voted against you (West coast gangsters saying they killed Tupac) an then you have some people saying it was the authority that voted against you (conspiracies theorys saying it was the police or freemasons)
All I know is you and Tupac were one of the greatests do ever do it and your career was gunned down before you hit the mountains. RIP West Coast For Life.

Great article as to why Lambert is better than Rodgers and Martinez. Btw how was Rodgers 7/5 to LMA manager of the year and Lambert 8/1? We finished on the same points and beat Swansea twice!

Hero, not saying im right. Once again get off your high horse. Im saying its a joke. Its hard on Cherries that he has to deal with poo reasons. At least the 4-0 to Cherries gave a short, more descriptive paragraph of reason than just 17 words - "Far too much strength on the wings and a lethal strike force for Cherry's CB's to handle."
Hero, you were either lucky to win that match or Cherries got screwed over. thats my opinion. I know for a fact im not the only one who thinks that.
I just used what I did in the Furious league as an example. Obviously it seens to be fine now, teams and change formation all day and play just as well in every single one.Changing the formation? Sodhat does that every week, he won the league.

I'd agree that the 5-0 is incredibly harsh but in the same respect the 4-0 is. Whilst the person may feel they have justified their comment with their write up I would hazard a guess that it was motivated more by putting egg on my face. Take both out and its the same result though.

Look at the 2-4 vote, "playing the system Hero played killed his chances of winning"
Look at the 1-3 vote, "What are Athletico playing at drastic change from before and this did not work"
There is 3 people thinking the same thing there. So I doubt its to put egg on your face.
Cherries even got marked down for his tactics being too long. In an amount of line there pretty much that same, both sets are around 18-20 lines each so why is Cherries marked down for that?????

If you had pick three teams to go down from the Premier League next season who would it be? Before all the summer dealings etc etc.
I will say Reading, Swansea and West Ham.

City, Liverpool and Arsenal. If you had pick three teams to go down from the Premier League next season who would it be?
Realistically, Wigan, Norwich and West Ham.
I'll be betting on three out of (depending on managers too) Wigan, Norwich, West Ham, QPR, Reading, Southampton....

It's got to be sent by tomorrow evening
West Ham will be ok next season, we have a good squad already - stronger than either Saints or Reading in my opinion - and a manager with PL experience
We will definitely spend some too. The owners will not let us go down again, they're losing too much money

I quite like them. I think they have the interests of the club at heart and even though they are prone to a PR gaffe or two, I see them pay out of their own pocket for signings and making generally sensible moves...even if I'd rather not move to Stratford.
I trust them not to sell us to some random businessman that bankrupts us too. They are at least actual West Ham fans.
Another thing me and one of my flatmates were discussing was the increasing attractiveness of Karren Brady. It's peculiar, but she seemed to now be attractive, although we were getting progressively drunker.
