Should he get his 36th cap against the Baa baas
Iain Balshaw 36th England cap.
So Mr Balshaw has collected yet another winners medal to add to his collection, I can't help but wonder if England should take a chance on him?
Why I hear you ask?
I think its a shame that his stuck on 35 caps for England, I'd love to see him get his 36th cap against the Baa baas.
Come on RFU, Cap Englands players against the Baa baas and give Iain his 36th cap his been stuck on 35 for too long.

I thought the next cap match was against South Africa?
That the Baa Baa's weren't worthy of Caps?
Why not play him in Durban?

Nah, think his England days are behind him. Might be a dark horse for the Lions at FB though.

It will haunt him for the rest of his life if he doesn't get that 36th cap he so craves.

HERSH - do you never tire of the WUM ???
Actually I don't think you are the same HERSH as on V1....Not only were you very clear about your retirement, your style changed dramatically and your intellect also dropped a few notches.
You also never mention your rugby past anymore which was one of your favourite topics. And you respected Wales in a funny kinda way before.
Just saying like, but seems your a fraudulent WUM which I find rather odd.

Maybe he could play for Wales? They do like English players plus are very generous in being the only nation to give caps for Baa Baa games

We don't like much thats English in Wales, certainly not on the rugby field. I guess players who have the choice by parentage to play for either country would rationally choose Wales ( bar Dawi Morris !! )
Shaun Edwards apart and with that surname he's clearly Welsh.

Lion’s caps are worthless, I've tried to sell two Adidas Lions baseball caps on ebay from the 2005 tour, not one watcher or bid!

How dare you!
Firstly, which retirement?
secondly my style has change as I find the average poster here on 606v2 are less knowledgably than those on bbc606, so I've tried to lower the standard a little to fit in with the rest of the drones on here.

But Bread,
Noon and Tindall have no where near the amount of medals that Balshaw has and is still getting, his a quality player who deserves another England cap If Wales are gifting Martyn Williams his 100th cap then Balshaw deserves his 36th England cap.

Hersh,
This was a good article. It actually made me laugh and was well penned.
I bet if anyone other than you wrote it people would have a chuckle at the comparisons between Martyn Williams and this.
Regarding Balshaw I think he has been playing very well in France why not see what he is about.

To be fair he can finish off tries, unlike Strettle or Monye...
