David Arquette!!
Jarrett at 50 is horseshit!
Would've placed Raven higher.

Re: top 50 WCW wrestlers of all time
Where do I start.........
1. The following shouldn't be on this list: Rodman, Curt Hennig, Randy Savage (or at least not as high), Bret Hart.
2. Vader should be in the top 5, Pillman in the top 10, Rude in the top 15, Cactus Jack in the top 15
3. Benoit should be on the list (but no surpise that he was missed)
Give me 15mins to have my coffee and I will give it a bit more in-depth look.
Oh boy......

I pretty much agree with the top 5, but also agree Pillman and Vader should be higher.
"Stunning" Steve Austin shouldn't be as high as top 15, was he really that memorable in WCW?? Jarrett should be top 25.
Beniot and La Parka are the only 2 that i can think of who deserve to be on the list.

Re: top 50 WCW wrestlers of all time
My personal top 10 would be:
1. Sting
2. Ric Flair
3. Hollywood Hogan
4. Goldberg
5. Vader
6. Hall
7. Nash
8. Pillman
9. Page
10. Bischoff
11-20 is hard. Anderson, Booker T, Rude, Windham and The Steiners should be in it, but the placing is hard. I would probably put Rude at 11.
Bischoff is an unique one as he isn't a wrestler. I would still place him high. If talking about pure wrestling, I would swap him with Rude.

Randy Savage, Sid Vicious, Scott Steiner, Jeff Jarrett, Lex Luger, Rey Mysterio, Arn Anderson, Rick Rude, Brian Pillman, Ron Simmonds filling 11 - 20 (but not in that order).

Re: top 50 WCW wrestlers of all time
Good to see Sting get the recognition he deserves. The man was WCW in more ways than one.
In the top ten maybe drop Savage and Steiner for Vader and Hall.
Thinking about it, Hall's appearance on Nitro on that fateful day back in 1996 should make him top 10 alone. It's the beginning of everything that Wrestling is today.

Have no idea why Jeff Jarret is 50. K K K K Kevin Nash should be 3rd in my view and Hulk Hogan should be 2nd moving Flair down the order.

Can I ask why? We are not talking about a particular period (even though everyone is viewing the NWO era very highly), but the whole of WCW. That is why I rate Pillman and Vader highly. In my opinion the top five has to have Vader, Sting and Flair in. The other top ten you can make arguements for and against their places.
JJ, like him or hate him, was the face of WCW during the last years. He deserves to be on that list, and certainly higher than Rodman.

its got to be people personal views on JJ and Benoit (y JJ is at 50 and CB is not on the list) rather then there views on there wrestling ability.

contentious point, would Jeff Jarrett be higher on the list if he wasn't such a predominant figurehead within TNA?
I know there are a lot of guys on the list who have TNA connections (Hogan, Sting, Nash, Booker T etc.) but their overall legacy will be remembered more for their work within WCW or WWE rather than with TNA.

Superb point. The WCW in the late 80's early 90's had some amazing talent.
You have to bear in mind that WCW underwent some many internal transitions in the early days of Ted Turner. So many bookers came and went and under Dusty in that period had some solid performers.
How Magnum TA is not on that list is beyond me. He was phenominal in the day and for the likes of Flair to rate his star quality on the same level as Austin in the WWE.

Re: top 50 WCW wrestlers of all time
Good shout.
Sitting here thinking about it, to compile a list like this for WCW would be a lot easier (for me personally) without those in the NWO era.
NWO distorts things too much, because it was such a huge thing. However, in the scheme of the total WCW era, I do not rate those that took part beyond Hogan, Nash and Hall. I feel a bit pushed into including them.
Another name I have thought of: Jushin Liger. He would be in my top 20.

Jushin Liger was quality. I remember some of his matches in Japan on the old Eurosport. Way ahead of his time!!

I would say he should be on that list, and is probably the best cruiserweight on their if he was.

Re: top 50 WCW wrestlers of all time
Top 10 is fairly ok, but the waters start getting a bit muddy after that I.E Malenko @ 13! Just coz the guy is a WWE agent!.....
I'd have Hogan @ 1 though as him joining the nWo was the single biggest reason for WCW becoming number one, without Hogan they'd of never got there.
1. Hogan
2. Flair
3. Sting
4. Goldberg
5. Nash
6. DDP
7. Vader
8. Hall
9. Booker T
10. Savage
