Sláinte and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The Pub has followed the victorious Leinster team home after last week's Heineken Cup final for a liver-busting celebration.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the picture of the late Simon "Human Windmill" Pitney or those of all the HEC and Amlin Cup finalists.

Morning Kiwi, looking foward to the weekend?

Morning all. Knackered.com. We had a few drinks & dinner in the beer garden to cool down and celebrate our netball win last night (player of the day points for moi ).

And then I had to work on the Super XV weekly preview (it'll be up in 5 minutes) when I got home, finished writing at 1am, lousy night's sleep in the heat.

But I have the morning at home waiting for my new iPad to be delivered, and the Royal Mail just texted to say they're delivering my Olympic tickets today too. Result.

I was thinking of getting an iPad, Kiwi, but what counted against it for me was that it doesn't have a disk drive. I bought a notebook instead, so now I don't have to attach an external disk drive to my netbook every time I want to put a CD on iTunes.

I already have a desktop pc (well, an old laptop with a broken screen that's permanently plugged into external monitor and keyboard at least), just wanted something for on the move, after I trod on my netbook a couple of months back

They do look a fantastic piece of kit, in fairness. When you see one in the 'flesh', the display really is incredible. If I had the money I'd have bought both.

I got myself a tablet for when I am not working, it is pretty convenient.

Olympics tickets just arrived

Not looking forward to the Olympics, we are shyte at it.

My middle sister got Olympic tickets for the tennis. I'm not too jealous because I've been to Wimbledon the last couple of years. I saw John Inverdale last year, sprinting somewhere or other. The year before that I saw Boris Becker walking along declining to give his autograph.

BAH!!!!!!! O'Brien and Healy are out of the Pro12 final.

Hank the Tank and Jennings to start (probably). Our scrummaging will probably be a little better but we're losing 2 serious carriers.

Pretty big losses, those two.

Yeah, not ideal at all. But we're still in no excuse for losing territory.

Anyone got any plans for the weekend? I believe the weather is to stay nice.

Not really lucky. Leinster fans like to tell us about the depth in their squad. Time for that depth to deliver.

I was on my way to work today and (I have never encountered this before) but the yogurt in my lunchbag literally exploded. It has ruined my fruit and sandwiches

It's Friday and it's glorious

This weekend the garden is getting blitzed, grass will be cut, bedding plants planted, strawberry plant is going in the hanging basket.

I might even wash my car...

Saw a women running out of a newsagent with a load of stolen stuff, when a security gaurd chased her she thew cans of coke at his head. Sound.

Dun dun DUUUUN! The day of the dreaded AUDIT is here! I feel now like I did the morning of rugby matches. I just want to get on with it and the nerves are making me fidgety. Next it will be a pain in the pit of my stomch and nausea.

Hi Puma. I don’t really know much about them to be honest, other than the fact that they’re small form factor and designed to be really simple. There is no windows installed, instead there is Chrome (the google operating system). If you want to use Word or Excel you can’t but you can use free alternitives that will open word or excel files and save in .docx or .xlsx formats so other people can open them.

If you have a particular model in mind just have a look for reviews on google, cnet is a really good website and I would trust their reviews.

Cnet are good, I had a look at their reviews when I was looking for a notebook.

thanks kado. i have the pc for all business apps so really looking for mobile surfing mostly. chromebook seems to fit the bill, just a bit wary of os which is not ms or mac based so looking for feedback by anyone who has tried it. online reviews seem mostly v positive. you always get the nitpickers who are never satisfied!

He can't be all that worried about it if he found time to post in here.

Hoog - probably will be in the Sheaf for the AP final at
3pm Sat and the Baa baas v England game (2:30) on Sun then the Rabo final afterwards.

If you’re looking for mobile surfing then if I was you I’d go for a tablet. But that’s just my taste, I like the idea of the keyboard only presenting itself when it’s needed and slipping away when you’re watching something.

I'd love a tablet. I really would. I may consider in time replacing my netbook with a tablet.

Was thinking of getting an Ipad myself but but sure whether to just plump for a macbook.

Not sure how much I'd use an Ipad out and about.

I'd love a Macbook but they're too expensive.

The thing about a tablet is that i'd still need a laptop or desktop somewhere because i download a lot of movies and stream them to my tv. You can't do that with a tablet. Yet!
