Joe Bearman
He's been an outstanding performer for both the Dragons and now Ospreys. At the Ospreys he came in, battled hard and made the jersey his own. Why has he not been on the Wales radar at all? It's not like we have a long line of number 8's queuing up for test duty.
Very well played yesterday and all season Joe, dai iawn Joe.

Re: Joe Bearman
His age is a big factor
and the fact he is English
He made one big mistake yesterday, his poor pass from the base of a scrum lead to Leinster try if I'm not mistaken

Yeah his age was the factor just as he left the Dragons unfortunately. Nothing wrong with having an old head in the team as a stop-gap. How old is he agin?
And he's from Cornish Land but I'm pretty sure he became qualified for Wales before he joined the Ospreys.

Yeah he is Welsh qualified via residency, but the way i see it why pick a 30 plus non welsh man in the national side that has a two season at best. I would rather see hamilton from the blues get called up even though he is experienced and currently not as good.

Re: Joe Bearman
Probably right that he'd only have two seasons at best. But like I said, he'd be a stop gap and a pretty handy one because we don't have much cover at 8.

Re: Joe Bearman
After his injurys he's a shadow of the player he once was. He was pure quality at the Dragons making 30 yard brakes have after game. He was our player of the season 2 years running. Then he missed a season with injurys and hasn't shown that form. Still a quality player but not upto test level now.

+1
Good player, not up to where he was at the dragons, and probably lost that spark needed for test level. Would rather see Shingler/Ryan Jones in there as backrow cover.
