A couple of my mates have their young 'uns playing. So I am following with a keen interest.

Just checked the website and SuperSport are streaming them. Freely available worldwide....... except for France, Ireland and UK

They are on Sky Sports in the UK, I'm certain there will be a stream available somewhere for them.

They're always on Sky Sports. Last year we got the red button option to choose the live games (usually just the home nations games though). Thanks for the reminder Portnoy. I'll miss a chunk of it due to being on holiday .

Had a quick look (haven't got time to watch it at the moment) and from what I've seen it already looks like Scotland are going to get pumped. Oz are rolling down the pitch through forwards and backs at will.

In games like this you're looking for Scottish player to put himself forward so you can say at least x is coming through. Unfortunately not seen anyone do this yet. I will keep my eyes open though.

Oh sorry guys I started a different thread for the Wales one with a working link to Global sports so we can watch it.

First up tackling from the Scots has been terrible. The Aussies are a little bigger but not THAT much.

Scotland get a deserved try after a period of pressure on the Australian line.

Oz swamped them for the whole half. Maybe the Oz game plan was to front-load the effort in order to put the game out of sight pdq.

From what I can see, this is two lightweight (poundage) teams. Oz look way better against a poor Scottish outfit. But Oz will struggle at the sharp end of the tournament imo.

I didn't mean on overall balance of play, I suppose I meant that they NEEDED to score after that period of pressure.

Ref being very lenient to prevent the game being too much of an embarassment.

I'm watching the Welsh game to be honest but to be fair Scottish fans shouldnt be too despondent, Wales lost 92-0 to New Zealand last year in this competition.

Truth be told results dont matter, all you can hope is 3 of the players from this squad break through to the full Scottish team in a few years and maybe 6 will make it as professionals.

Good try from the Scots, they missed a similar chance earlier, took that one well.

The game is looking very scrappy now. 60 minutes gone and many points yet to come.
