The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Sixmilebridge
First topic message reminder :
Sláinte and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made it's way to the homeland of the wonderful Eirebilly, who we were all horrified to hear that he was involved in a helicopter crash on Friday. Better news though is that he's awake and swearing like a sailor, so no change there Feel free to take in all of the pubs, of which the Greyhound is but one of many.
Updates on Billy's progress can be found here: https://www.606v2.com/t30132-eirebilly-op-updated-02-06-2012 and I'm sure we'll all continue in sending the positive thoughts and good wishes to him and his family.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the snooker table, brought in especially for Billy. And I'm not quite sure how that picture of a sheep got above the bar.....
Old pub: https://www.606v2.com/t29683p950-the-dew-drop-inn-erc-2012-commemorative-pub-dublin#1271612

Brick patterns, pigeons, lamp posts.... a touch of graffiti near the tip of the toes... Everyday urban footwear.
It's a good night to catch pneumonia here... it's so miserable outside.

This will be of interest to us pub denizens;
http://whiffofcordite.com/2012/06/05/season-in-review-connacht/
http://whiffofcordite.com/2012/06/05/season-in-review-connacht/
As we say goodbye to the provincial season, we sign off with the last of our provincial reviews – a look at the men from the West. We sought some external assistance for this one, and went to our own man from out west, known on Twitter as ummm, a long-standing Connacht fan, for his views on how Connacht’s first season went.

Thomond given the age profile I had imagined you to be in, I wouldn't have thought those shoes appropriate.

brilliant defence by Scotland there to keep Australia out, not aided by awful positioning form the Ref. If I'd have been a Scots player I'd have just tackled him out of the way.

Enjoyed that Blog Notch. Helps that I actually got to meet the great man after the HC Final in London.
He's not what I imagined him to be though . Then none of you were, especially Rodders

Breakdown has been a real mess in this game and the referee has been poor.

That's the great thing about the pub meets, getting to meet the people behind the monikers. It makes you realise that your brain builds up an idea of what other posters are like without you asking it to.

Penalty Scotland and they get the win!!!!
Breaker -
Not a game either side would have enjoyed playing in those conditions I don't think. Monster defensive efforts from both sides though.

Aye where is Asbo? not seen him around for a couple of days.
Ha love this from the Beeb:
The celebrations on the pitch are so wild that Alasdair Strokosch accidentally headbutts Joe Ansbro, who is led off for treatment by Nick de Luca with blood streaming down his face.
