First topic message reminder :

Sláinte and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The Pub has made it's way to the homeland of the wonderful Eirebilly, who we were all horrified to hear that he was involved in a helicopter crash on Friday. Better news though is that he's awake and swearing like a sailor, so no change there Feel free to take in all of the pubs, of which the Greyhound is but one of many.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the snooker table, brought in especially for Billy. And I'm not quite sure how that picture of a sheep got above the bar.....

It was March 2011, because I was down at Rhossili for my cousin's birthday and couldn't watch the match live and had to rely on text updates. I didn't get properly incensed until I watched the match back on the i-player

I've just managed to have a few really nice days with my parents and grandparents that I will always remember, even if it was just mainly about my dad getting overexcited by a boat with bells on it. Oh and a steam engine.....

No, saw him town around lunch hour, about the 4th time in two months. Wished him luck ahead of the "the big one" down the Pairc against Kerry on Sunday.

Like Kia said where all her village came together to celebrate. People don't do it all the time, that's what makes these events so special. For me anyways

The source of the controversy was Ulster 20-18 Scarlets on 1st April 2011.

This was the main bone of contention. (Quote from Scarlets website)
But with a penalty count of two to 12 against the Scarlets in the second half, the Scarlets players and coaches were not the only ones asking questions post match.

Thank goodness there aren't any of these controversial games anymore

Dreamer - I don't know about you, but I find it a bit sad that communities don't come together anyway never mind just for a one-off occasion. There's events like these street parties often - such as The Big Picnic for Macmillan cancer, but people don't always get involved in those.

They don't get involved as much no, Cari, even though those events still happen. I just think because this is something that's going to go down as a moment in history, it just captures a wider audience is all.

I've cause a fair amount of controversy on the football boards, suggesting England have an easy Euro group.....

A shot every time George Hamilton says "great save by Given" and you would be out by 60 minutes.

One of the rules 4 years ago was a shot every time your selected team scored a goal. Then the match we were watching (one of the semis I think) went to penalties. Ouch.
