Valjester, if you don't mind I can add the baby boks to your OP, and then we just change the title to JWC: Irish and Bok squads announced?

Val - is that a mistake in the team? Conan at 7, Gilsenan at 8? Last season it was the other way round. Conan was brilliant at 8.

What does the * beside some players mean?Is it first appearances at a Junior WC.

Re: JWC: Irish and Baby Bok squads announced.
The Boks will win this by about 20-30 points I'd say. Thats a weak enough Irish team and Horan and Daly at 13 and 14 are very poor.
The Boks are very strong, I think five of their players have Super Rugby experience, thankfully Goosen is out or it would be worse, even
if it is a shame that we won't get to see him play.

Ireland have a few really exciting players. South Africa, on the other hand, have a really exciting team.

Bainfidh mé an sult as an cluiche anocht. Ceapaim go dtugann TG4 clúdach den scoth dúinn. Déanann siad anailís maith i mo thuairim. Tá na cluiche Éireannach ag TG4, ní doigh liom go bhfuil aon cluiche eile acu.
(Looking forward to the game. TG4 give great coverage to us. They do good analysis. They have the Irish games, they don't have other ones.)
This will help those who don't speak Irish. http://www.tg4.ie/en/programmes/rugby-on-tg4/dictionary.html

Why is McGrath not starting? I thought he was one of your best forwards, I expect SA to be strong up front.
Biltong, is the whole tournament taking place in the Cape?

Luke McGrath is a scrumhalf. And he should be starting!
This is going to be an incredibly tough ask for Ireland- there are a few guys who I hope can shine like Henderson, Furlong, Hanrahan and Nelson but South Africa are probably too strong across the board.

I don't think you should worry about that, we were very poor last year. Not much hope for this year.

Re: JWC: Irish and Baby Bok squads announced.
Yes, got a stream.
Our big loss is that Jackson is being held back for next season. Sky Sports are quite poor. They make the point that Mike Ruddock has unfettered access to his players unlike his South African counterpart, yet South Africa have several Super Rugby players who have been released whereas Ulster have been allowed to withdraw the Teams Captain and star outhalf?!
Seems like they got that one the complete wrong way round. I agree with the withdrawl of Jackson. At the time of writing, Ulster have him and only him as an outhalf for next year and although a backup is due to be signed, he will be playing about 25-30 games next year! He needs a full pre-season.

It is absolutely appalling. We really need to fix it.
Also I hear that we have taken NOC back from Connacht for next season.

Indeed, rumoured to have been a done deal for a while. Hopefully we finalise our squad this week. And get a first press conference from our new coach who arrived on Friday.

Injured, which is unfortunate because although its great to have Nelson back, with Layden and Jackson gone we have to play Horan and Daly who are both sh**e.

Yep, we also need Marmion to sort his passing out. Hanrahan is having to jump for every pass and that doesn't help him get the backline moving.

Ireland is competing very well in the tight exchanges, the Boks need to go wide.
