Because Ruddock is a bit of an idiot. I think it might have something to do with every player having to start a game and
Marmion being a bigger player making him more suitable for this game.

That was F$%^^ pathetic by jordaan, you don't let a ball bounce 3 times.

That's more like it Ireland, not so bad when they have the ball in hand . Each year the U20s seem to have a team that defends really well but doesn't attack nearly as well.

A lot better by Ireland on the other hand, great chase by big Iain Henderson.

He's a deceptive player, he's sort of a bit squat for a 10 but I saw him playing against my cousin's team a few years ago and he was a level above everyone on the pitch. And that's a lovely kick.

And a class break there. Seriously, the sooner he is playing for Munster (and 12 for Ireland) the better.

That's the big question is he going to be a 10 or 12.

Nice play by the Irish - good passing interplay between forwards and backs.
And that has to be the droopiest kick in rugby but it's over.
Ireland 6-3 SA

He's a great creative 12 really, but he's also got the attributes to play at 10. Be interesting to see which position he favours more as he develops.
Oof! That was an ugly strike. Went over though

I think he will play at 10 for Munster, but play 12 for Ireland. No reason he couldn't do that.

Well, when you play this poorly you don't deserve to win. Simples. The Irish are showing intensity and pride. The Baby Boks look kak.

Lovely opportunism by Ireland. And a great taken try under the sticks.
Hanrahan converts. 13-3 to Ireland. Wait for the onslaught.

Ireland look pretty relaxed and look as if they aren't playing to the best of their ability yet. I hope they can go on and win this. Sorry Bil .

The only time I've seen JJ @ flyhalf I believe, but in my opinion he looks a level above the overated Paddy Jackson in that position.

Ahhh, that crosskick was the wrong option. Still, we've settled into this game nicely! South Africa putting themselves under pressure in a lot of situations.

Sorry Biltong, realised when I wrote it that it might imply that they weren't being fair, they are being scrupulousy fair, but there is a definite hint of surprise about them, s in they weren't expecting it to be like this. (Mind you none of us were either, were we ..

Re: JWC: Irish and Baby Bok squads announced.
It's a question of whether we can maintain our intensity to the very last minute. You see that quite often at this age group, we fall away in the last quarter- this being our first game we should be pretty fresh.
Pretty much the best we could have asked for! South Africa will no doubt change their 9 and play better, should be a close one.

Yeah we're very lucky to have two very good 10s at this level and there is a third one who played in the 6Nations who is very good as well, not sure if he is in the squad though. As bad as your 9 has been if he was Irish he would be in our senior squad.
