I played 4 tests for SA and scored 6 tries in my debut match.

Bathman is right, Clyde Rathbone it is. He captained SA U21s to the 2002 U21 world cup then played for Aus. Now that i search for it i can't actually find the quote but i'm sure i read somewhere of him saying I don't just want to be a Springbok I want to be a great Springbok" or something along those lines.

I play in a different country to the one I was born in.
I have played 7's for the country I live in.
I have played for 3 clubs in the country I live in.
I have a far more famous Uncle (with the same surname) who played for both the country of my birth and a much "bigger" nation.

I was (effectively) a one club man - winning every honour possible with that club.

I have won a grand slam.

I have played for Leicester Tigers.
I played more matches for the Lions than I did for my country.
I played more matches for the Barbarians than I did for my country.
I have scored more tries for the Lions and the Barbarians than any other player.
My final cap at the age of 33 was a shock recall that denied the father of a current great his only chance of a cap.
My first cap came at the age of 18.

Yup.

He played at Leicester after graduating, when he worked in Ashby.
On two tours for the lions he played in 36 matches (10 tests) and scored 37 tries.
Played 30 matches for Barbarians with 38 tries.
His last cap purportedly stopped BoD's dad being capped.

Next hint was going to be that he was perhaps the richest former Rugby International in the world (valued at >1bn Euro)

Final clue may not have helped but it would have been : I met LondonTiger at my youngest son's first wedding.

I was born and grew up in a different country to where I played my rugby.
-The country now known as Zim
I went to school with 2 other internationals, who both represented a different country to me and a different one to where I was born.
- Beast and Mujati
I briefly played for a NRL team.
- Brisbane Broncos
I played International rugby and won 8 caps.
- Scotland
I played for clubs in 2 different countries
- Bath, Borders, Northampton, Nottingham, possibly others too.
