It's quite simple, Scotland have the set peice to absolutely dominate. The weather is poor, and Aus have an uninspiring backline for their standards. Scotland have the beef, and the preperation, Aus have 6 debutants!

Surely this game can only go one way?

Anyone think this game might get called off? That ground is at saturation now. No one wants to see anyone get hurt out there.

Why do sides do this? UInstead of kicking to touch Aus decide to ruin the ball from their own try line, get 5m forward then kick to touch from a tighter angle making no ground.

Attacking scrum to scotland, they are very much on top so far.

I can remember Matt Williams saying something last Spetember when Ireland played Oz (in similar shoite conditions, not as bad though) he said this OZ side are part of the drought generation. They will have rarely seen never mind played in this type of weather. Ireland won then so don't be surprised to see Scotland take it.

15 minutes in and pretty much the whole game has been in the Aus 22 on the left hand side.

Pretty much the entire game has been played within 30m of the aus try line. Scotland are passing more than expected but not really going anywhere. The wind and handling are stopping aus clearing their line.

Problem for scotland is they cant shove the scrum back as the conditions give aus carte blanche to "slip" and collapse it.
