Sláinte and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The Pub has made it's way to Jedburgh, home of Greig Laidlaw who kicked the winning points for Scotland on Tuesday night.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of all of the June Internationals debutants hanging over the bar.

I got Croatia in the sweepstake at work, no idea if that's good or bad?

It could be great Swanny, they could go far, but they could equally crash out in the group stages. So you could do great or awful ,really. Bit like supporting Sale isn't it?

Lucky, are the games on Sky only? I didn't think Wetherspoons had Sky Sports.

Hi

There are so many of you who wants updates on Alec so this is a message Im copying and sending to everybody.

He has been to another hospital today for a scan to check his brain. The doctors wanted to check how the swelling was and also look for any brain damage. He still has trouble speaking. The results are good, there is still some swelling but it keeps getting better. They cant find any signs of permanent damage. Alec is expected to make a full recovery, he just needs time.

According to his secretary he is happy with the results and I was told to feck off with my worry. He appears to be himself
