Rugby cliche #94 "You don't beat Wales, you just score more than them"
Following Wales U20's win verses the baby blacks:
Oh dear.
New Zealand coach Rob Penney felt that his team were their worst enemies in difficult conditions.
"We are very disappointed with the result, the effort and energy was there but not the accuracy," the former Canterbury coach said.
"Our game management was poor and the Welsh made us suffer for that. The boys are desperately keen to do well, you will never see a New Zealand team lie down and I didn't feel we were beaten..."
Oh dear.

To be fair, NZ sides aren't familiar with losing so they need some practice in being magnanimous in defeat.

Well, beating the baby blacks is something. It sort of distracts attention away from the seniors being humped by Australia last Saturday.
But hey.... let's not pick on them. Wales are a very good team and if the youngsters in the Under 20s continue to improve, they'll be formidable in the future.
Provided they don't let one victory go to their heads, that is.
