Re: Day 15 - Men's Singles Final
For the health of a competitive sport we probably need Nadal to win. It should make for a more interesting Wimbledon and US Open etc. However, I do feel that Djokovic could potentially push Nadal a lot closer here.

This has been a strange match.
A few good points, but lots of patchy points with errors and poor serving from both guys.

I think the wet is favouring Djokovic. Nadal can't get the bounce up at all.

Djokovic in ascendancy here in the second set, held onto his serve despite an awful first serve %.

Nadal had hit a clean winner at the same time the line judge called Djokovic's ball out. Umpire said replay point but Novak just conceded it. Great sportsmanship

Novak's losing this match (so far, things can change), on his serve. His low first serve percentage is not helping his cause.

Djoko brakes the seat with racquet and gets a warning. He is done for the year.

Novak playing the way he has played all tournament.

Nadal is now on the loose, like his first three years at RG.
Damn rain, just when Rafa accelerated.
Relief there for Novak.

Djoker is the luckiest of all. Last year's US open semis against Fed, this year against Tsonga and Seppi.
Should have been 2-0 Rafa. Things may change now.

Yeah rain break tough on Nadal who you felt was starting to accelerate and that FH was starting to dominate.

When Djokovic wins it is luck.
When Nadal wins it is moonballing.
That is why I keep a lucky moonball.

Re: Day 15 - Men's Singles Final
Jahu, what are you talking about? Djokovic done for the year! Such a ridiculous statement. Already won the oz open and Miami this year and in most other finals including this one. He is even dictating most of the points in this match. Most of nadals points are coming from Novak errors. Novak just needs to sort out his first serve. Shocking stats on 1st serve. Either way nadal was always favourite at French open. After this Novak will probably win us open again and possibly Wimbledon too

Re: Day 15 - Men's Singles Final
48% first serve percentage for Novak for the match. Those double faults at key times is also disappointing. I just want Novak to win one set and to mount a stiffer challenge to Rafa.

slash, no less is my statement ridiculous than yours about Djoko wining W & USO. So why criticize me for ridiculous statement when you follow up with an even worst one?
This is a forum and we all have fun, it ain't a parliament to be politically correct.
p.s I don't care for Nadal or Djoko btw, so chill buddy. Djoko is not an interesting proposition to world of tennis, never will.

That last shot on set point shows why Nadal has won 6 French Opens and ten major titles.

Djokovic looks a beaten man, not good body language. Nadal is also playing mind games by delaying procedures, cleaning the lines, checking his gussets etc.

I sense this is not over, pretty sure Novak will take this set but think its too much to ask to win 2 more after that

Nole nowhere near as patient today as he needs to be. Right from the start he was trying to end the points too early, even more so now. I do not think that is going to work.

I think this is over in straight sets. Nadal wins his 7th RG title without dropping a set.
